The history of breast augmentation surgery in a nutshell:
--First they made in icisions under the breast or around the lower curve of the areola. Too obvious.
--Then a few yrs ago (early-mid 90's) they went thru the armpits and took advantage of the naturally occuring folds under the arms. When you see the actresses raise their arms, some misaligned scars that don't quite look right in their pits give them away.
--The latest (and hardest to detect, IMO) is the technique of inserting the implant thru the navel, and snaking it up thru the abdomen and putting it in place. This also takes advantage of a natural indent of the navel. They also have the lucky bonus of navel jewelry and navel piercing being in vogue, so they can use navel jewelry to further hide the scar, or simply attempt to dismiss the implant entry scar as a removed piercing.
--Sooooooooo, if you see a suspiciously perky pair of pontoons combined with a particularly beat up looking navel area, that is where the implants went in.
--I usually pride myself on not being able to be fooled on fake boobs, but the more subtle jobs (not the overfilled monstrosities which are obvious) nowadays take a pretty damn close look. They are indeed getting good at their craft.
