The security programme on my computer alerts me to an ever-increasing number of "Trojan" attacks (which the security programme - Norton - classifies as high-risk) from porn sites on the net. From what I've heard these are potentially damaging in that they can allow malicious operators access into your computer and whatever details you have stored on it. These types of attacks can supposedly also allow malicious operators to sometimes take control of your computer and use it for their own (underhand) purposes. If you do not have a security programme you will know nothing of these attacks. If you want a good security package you might want to consider Norton, Symantec or Zonealarm.
Apologies to any of you who are well-up on this already. This post was not directed at yourselves!
