However, I see that the industry favors 18-20 year old actors. I was wondering if there is a chance to make a living in the biz and whom I should contact for further information. The younger they get in, the younger they leave. Two years seems to be about the cycle for most. The women that stay the longest are the ones committed to the sex industry in more ways than just performing in front of the camera and that can mean giving up any notions of "normal relationships". I don't know why it's always put on the consumers, as though we're chasing women out of the business. We're usually asking what happened to make someone leave. I don't work in the industry but in my personal opinion, 30 isn't necessarily too old for porn. Some women are incredibly attractive at 30 (and even 40). I think there's always room for more.
