I've been wondering because I personally barely know any European porn stars (most of them moved to the states after they became popular AFAIK). Likewise, I don't know a lot of porn companies/studios here. Most European porn I know is amateur-ish and contrasts sharply with most American porn. [Link]

While there is a comparison between European and American porn in both topics, I think they are quite different. I'm not saying one is better, I'm simply asking if there are still a lot of studios starting in Europe. Topics like the one you mentioned suggest that 'European porn' is still big business, but this conflicts with my own experience. Maybe I would have a better chance of getting my question answered there though, that is a fair point you're making. [Link]

Marc Dorcel still rules. Harmony still provides hot material. Private changed facade but still breathes easily. BlueBird from time to time although Score . Magma in Germany. JTC in France. Italian Porn suffered the most losses (ATV, Mario Salieri's grandpas participation productions reveals its decadence) but I read rumors that Pinko is planning a hot comeback. I wonder if they are true. There are hundred more smaller companies who still produce quality European porn but most of them they function through internet alone or in join with other porn sites.
