I am not getting on Google. Going nuts trying to figure out what changed on my computer.

Very bizarre. I'm on a machine at work (i.e. don't have access to a real newsreader) and I can't get the group either through google. I can retreive individual messages by doing a lookup, but the group itself is locked, apparently. I'll be home in a few hours so I'll try it with Agent.

Another weird thing, I tried to look it up the group alphabetically, throught the list of groups, and the group doesn't even show up.
Here's the <ulink </u

Plus here's a <udirect link </u to the group I have stored in my bookmarks. Totally empty. Never seen this.

Mus have been a Google thing; we've been processing articles continuously. We had a brief outage due to Hurrical Isobel, but that only affect new postings and the IAFD; the newsgroup should still have been there on the various newsservers in the world....

However, the group is called rec.arts.movies.EROTICA, so perhaps searching on an incomplete name screwed something up?

They wrote to me last night and said there was a temporary problem with its index servers and it was identified and corrected.

I wrote back at midnight saying it aint't fixed yet. The whole comp.sys. groups were not listed either. So it wasn't just about us wankers.

Percy

ps: This morning everything was ok. I would hate to work all night on a problem like that. Are Friday's beer night?
