I havent heard this. Can you be more specific as to which communities or at least which cases where the basis for such a finding ? The real answer is, you wouldnt know if its obscene until a jury determines such at the end of an obscenity trial and it would only be obscene in that particular judicial district. And if vomit was a part of lets say the Max Hardcore movies that were prosecuted in Tampa, that may not necessarily mean that vomit is obscene if thats all there is in your movie. However I would advise a client not to sell aggressive BJ scenes to such a judicial district just to be on the safe side. Remember the movie should be "taken as a whole" however recently the govt has been trying to just show snippets of movies that are being prosecuted.
