I keep seeing posts that seem to be missing the percent sign.

I typed a percent sign between those arrows. But it doesn't display now.

I'll look at the new post processing code that was added when I added the new smilies. It strips out lots of stuff now but I agree that percent characters should be allowed.

Because the characters were processed out of the data prior to being written to the database.
