Is there any competition for males in awards?
see manuel ferrara wiki article, award list is bigger than his personal profile information.
he even won 5 AVN awards as male performer more than any other actor.

'Cause the best ones are invisible. They don't exist. It ain't their industry.
It would be like giving an award to water at a Boat Show.
The only male talent whose names I know are the ones who (in my opinion) ruin scenes.

There is so much wrong with that statement that I'm not entirely sure where to begin.
I'll start with this: Even if it's true that the best male talent is invisible, then you should know their names if only so you can know when they're the ones performing with the girls that you do like.

I know there's a segment of the porn buying audience that thinks like this, but they definitely aren't the majority anymore, and I'm not entirely sure that they've ever been the majority of the audience, seeing as we've had incredibly popular and well known male performers for about as long as we've had incredibly popular and well known female performers, and the males weren't (and aren't) popular because they were "invisible" as it were.

The woman adds hotness to the scene with her looks. While her guy adds hotness to the scene with his sex-action on her. The quality of both are essential for the hotness of any scene.
If you care about the quality of the sex action for the lady and want to see the lady get nailed really well, then it makes sense to choose the porn scenes by the guy in it. Because he is the one who determines the quality of the sex action. And some guys are a lot better at it than other guys are.
But when it comes to watching the porn scene, then of course, you want to see the woman's face and not the guy's. Because you want to see how she reacts to his sex-action on her.

No, it's just a different point of view you know, different interests. There are those who like you didn't even like to see the male actors, and there are those who instead think that the male performer is really important. As I've said in another thread, if guys like Rocco, Nacho, Manuel, Ron Jeremy, James Deen and others are really famous.

I disagree also on this. I like to see also the face of the man. Not that I'm interested in close ups of his face, but I don't like the camera work that all the time tries to avoid the face of the guy.
Different tastes, I'm on the voyeur side.

I don't think it's possible to avoid showing the guy's face, unless it's some heavily edited compilation scene that shows only certain positions and only certain sex acts. Because some positions, such as spoon and reverse cowgirl, naturally show the guy's face. And long-shots, that show a lot of the woman's body, often show the guy's face too from the side. And there is nothing wrong with showing the guy dive his face into the lady's tits or ass. A lot of films actually focus on this kind of sex action.
It's not so much about showing or not showing the guy's face, as it is about showing the guy in the role that he is supposed to be playing.
The guy is there to bang and debauch the lady for the viewer's pleasure, rather than for his own pleasure. That's why the camera needs to focus on his sex-action with the lady, and also show her facial reactions to the viewer to prove that she is being debauched and that the guy's sex-action is effective with her. But focusing on the guy's face, the way you would focus on the woman's face, makes no sense, unless you are gay or a female viewer, who is attracted to the guy.

A small handful of guys are famous because a small handful of guys who are known to perform well end up in a disproportionately high percentage of scenes. That doesn't mean people watch a movie because they're in it regardless of who the females are; in fact the opposite is true.
Pudknock's analogy was brilliant -- you can't have a boat show without water. But nobody goes to a boat show to see the water or cares about the water as long as it does what it is supposed to do. Porn is the same -- you can't have non-lesbian porn without penises. But nobody watching a movie really cares who or what is attached to the penises, as long as they do what they're supposed to do.

If only some guys do it well and others not so well. Then you need to search for scenes where the best guys perform, so that you get to see their better than average performances. And you aren't going to find such scenes, unless you know who the guy is.
Of course, the lady's looks are important too, and that's why you need to have two conditions for choosing a scene. The scene needs to have a lady you like, and it also needs to have a guy whose performances with the ladies you like too.

I can think of a lot of scenes where it happens exactly that and also with the positions you have mentioned. Reverse cowgirl? Just go to google it and see the pictures: a frontal shoot and there you go, the actor disappears. The same goes for spoon, it's just a matter of angles and close ups.
"unless you are gay", it seems that many have this strange fear. No, I'm not gay, it's just that I have a voyeuristic side I think.
Think of performers like Ron Jeremy: do you think he's famous because guys are attracted by him?

I've not said that one look a scene only for the guy, but that the guy is really important for many viewers. It's clear that I'm not interested in a scene if I don't like the girl at all, but just to make an example: I like to see milf scenes, if the guy involved is 25 years old or older I'm not interested.
I guess you should learn a simple thing: often different people have different point of views. To say that "nobody cares" is just ridiculous, as that famous line said: well, it's just your opinion man, don't think that everybody always thinks like you.
There are sites like Straightpornstuds, IAFD or DATA18 where you can look for all the scenes made by those male actors, there's a reason for that.
