The virtual aspect would only mean that you would have the ability to move around but if there are two people having sex then who is looking at anything but the action. The only way I can see virtual sex working is if you can move around and get to see the action from different perspectives and multiple angles but is this even possible using real actors or could you only do that with virtual characters? If you are using real people then you would need to have multiple cameras shooting the action from a wide variety of angles and making sure the performers followed a set number of position chnages to allow for multiple possible shots. Then you would have to digitally remove all the cameras otherwise most shots would have a camera in the way. If you decide to go all CGI then the technology is probably already here but the cost is so high that you would need millions of dollars to shoot one scene and you would still need to pay actors for voiceover. Not too mention that you would probably need a pretty powerfull computer to enjoy that virtual sex scene. Of course that will happen one day and I don't think it's in a very distant futur either. Click to expand I have to agree that I could not talk on a cell phone while driving. I have a hands-free earpiece that clips to my ear and uses a blueteeth connection to allow me to use my Blueberry. I still have to dial out, adjust the volume and connect/disconnect with the phone itself (my phone does have voice dialing but a button still has to be pressed to tell the phone to open that program, I haven't even bothered to use that feature).
