| Linus TR fan Member 318 Posts 11/03 |  Posted - Jun 15 2004 : 7:02AMGreetings, I just checked out My Plaything: Sabrine Maui, and it got me thinking, that this is really the first VS title from either of the only 2 really decent lines in the genre, Virtual Sex with, and My Plaything, in over a year. And there has really only been a couple releases from either in the last couple of years. Has the genre become obsolete already? knowing the majority here, this forum could probably mostly care less, but I always thought it was a genre that really had potential. The footage was massively too short, and it had some flaws, the digital pops being major fucking ones, but if either of those lines could pick up from a solid start, there may be something there, but there just isn't any product coming out of either series, and the other studios that have tried it in my oppinion did not do a very good job at all. So I am left wondering if it is now becoming a thing of the past that failed, or if there is still life out there for it. Any info or thoughts from anyone?  [Link] |

Plus you have to find the right girl to star in it. She has to be hot enough to attract the fans but still pull off the movie. There are several examples out there of beautiful women that when put in front of a camera by themselves can't seem to generate the heat. I have the "Virtual Misty" title. I haven't spent a lot of time going over it. It isn't up to the high standards of Digital Sin's My Plaything line but it still has a lot of good things going for it. What happens is that the director or the development team has an idea of what they want to see in the program, but they don't follow through on ALL of the possibilities. For instance one of the earlier virtual sex programs ("Virtual Sex with Rocki Roads") went from the girl saying "Hi" right to the sex. No foreplay, no striptease, no undressing. Just "hello" and now let's get into it. The other virtual sex programs went the opposite route. They had you jump through hoops. Play a game, shoot some aliens, find a certain room in a corridor... things that can get boring really quick if you have to do them for any real length of time. Some of the ones I've reviewed on this website are certainly an improvement from those earlier versions, but they still want to have the viewer go through some hoops first in order to unlock all of the goodies. I don't mind a game as a lead-in, but it shouldn't be a prerequisite to enjoy the stuff on the disc. By the way, Stormy, I'm glad to hear that Wicked is getting into doing a VS program and that you're not just planning on trying to do it all in one day. I hope they're looking at the reviews here to see how to improve things and really make it a must-buy DVD. If there is one thing I can suggest... PLEASE have a post-sex scene! That's been my biggest complaint with these more recent discs. Don't let it just end with the pop shot. Just have some scene where you say it was great or the viewer was great or something nice like that to wrap it all up. * MD James [Link] |

She gives a bit of a handjob, which isn't always included (at the expense of one of the "blowjob" sections). The sit poses are pretty and semi-jerkworthy, but that's about it. The rest will have you wishing you were watching one of her other movies. She looks constipated while reading the scripted stuff, and at one point I was concerned she was going to fall down. Internal pops for both sits (i.e. non-existent), with jelly jizz for the mostly uninspired mish and dog, real for the bj.
