kbee Member 84 Posts 12/06	Posted - Apr 26 2007 : 9:30PM In light of the Don Imus comment, can some white porn be attached for the way it portray abuse to women in some videos. I say this because in watching some porn, there seems to be more abusive treatment to women; spitting, slapping, choking, and most recently physically standing on a woman. I have to ask, are there people out there who can jerk off to this abusive treatment? In mainstream films, this type of display of treatment to another co-star is "acting" but in porn it is real. I was watching one video and I witnessed the guy slap the woman so hard you can tell that it stun her to the point where her eyes almost start tearing up. And when I say this guy physically stand on the women mid-section and was bouncing with all of his weight, I couldn't believe it. Maybe it's just me and the industry call this display of abuse, taking porn to the next level. I just curious about other people comments on this subject. [Link]

DtotheJ Member 190 Posts 8/06	Posted - Apr 27 2007 : 9:40AM Whether people will admit it or not....mainstream top 40 rap music (aka pop music) takes it's cues indirectly from 1980s rock and heavy metal videos..... motley crue, poison, etc...the big hair, mascara, era of rock...glam rock I think it was called. Women in videos just to wear tight clothes and show off their bodies. Lot of today's pop music hip hop just looks like updated version of 2 live crew stuff.......and Black versions of "girls , girls ,girls" ---------------------------------------------- TO201, hit it right on the head though. If you've actually seen more than 1 complete rap video...I find it hard to beleive that ANYBODY could make the link between even the most "pimpish" caricature of MTV version of rap and violent porn. There are so many hate filled scenes that it has become the norm. Max Hardcore could not be more proud. The obliteration of young girls was always his forte. Now with the Vince Vouyer's of the world emulating him on a mass scale, the industry looks completely different. There is a market for woman hating porn, obviously. Many men who watch porn do so because they cannot interact with women socially. They are that guy in the club who stands in the corner. This inability to cope with female rejection breeds resentment, and hostility. Porn offers an outlet, without the legal consequences of raping someone. As I have said before, porn follows the market for better or worse. As long as people want to see women pissed on, beaten, gaped, Bukakke'd, multiple penetrated, choked, slapped, and donkey punched: someone will make that movie... [Link]

I come from the school of where all parties involved are supposed to enjoy sex. Unless its a BDSM scene there really is no place for it(and even then they don't beat the women). Then again some people get off on the degredation. I personally don't but to each his own. Plus Rap videos videos never abused women. They just exploited the sexuality. Even the "uncut" videos. Click to expand I am sorry but I surely will not be the only person to be offended by the potrayal that violence in pornography is a "white man" thing. The actions of few within the porn industry should not be held to tarnish the reputations of the majority of professionals involved in this industry. There are so many grat directors of many different cultural backgrounds who make fantastic sensual and blisteringly hot hardcore action without the use of slapping, spitting etc. In fact most people will admit that they are not fans of this material. Lets be honest that there will always be a few who will enjoy these films but this is not the mainstream thought within the industry. I hope one could refrain from making assumptions that violence in porn is a racial thing. An unfortunate thing about the world today is that there are people of all races, all cultures and all backgrounds involved in the culture of violence. One cannot support that at any level.
