WOW! What surprising news! I thought that Janine's one and only choice is Vivid. Personally, I think she should branch out on her own. She's been in the industry long enough to not only know what sells but more importantly, what fans want to see.
Hmmm, I have my doubts on this.As the huge Janine fan I am, I`ve been searching about 8-9 adult news sites, and none has this confirmed.I even went over to the DP site, and it doesnt say anything either.
dont believe everything you have read. my understanding is that Janine has never had a contract with Vivid, that she worked with them on a 'handshake' deal because she liked working for Hirsch and crew. Janine could have signed with Digital Playground or she is still working for Vivid. till there is a press release dont believe the rumors .
Perhaps you are reading a really, really old forum. When Janine left Vivid the FIRST time, she did a short stint with Digital Playground during which she filmed a virtual sex DVD and nothing else...then she retired for a while, and is now back at Vivid again.
Let me start by saying I love Vivid...I always will but I did, in fact, had to leave. We just couldn't agree on certain terms. I did not leave with ill feelings. Steve told me he wanted the best for me.......so I made a bee-line to Digital Playground. I signed a 1 year contract and during that time I'll be making 6 titles. I'm sad about leaving Vivid but I'm happy about all the new possiblities with Digital.
Hopefully, Janine will respond to the question about her new movies with Vivid, but I did her in a recent interview say that she had I think 7 other titles not yet released. Janine, if you do respond, do you have any idea of the release schedule? I know Vivid has been known to hold titles for years.
I know it's totally Janine's choice, but maybe now we'll be seeing her fuck without condoms, just like in her photoshoot with Julian, which is on the Maneater DVD.
Hey Oatmeal....I'm the "baaad pirate". And as far as release dates for the other V.V. titles I'm the last to know...but I was told the I.R. scene will be out (hopefully) next....which means in 6 months.
What's going on with Vivid these days?!? It used to be THE company to work for but it seems increasingly irrelevant, especially with Digitial Playground making such a name for itself. Sure Vivid has Jenna and Tera, but they aren't the new wave of talent. What's goin on?
Janine, I hope that you'll be happy at your new home.
Although Vivid and Digital Playground make very similar movies, I've always thought that the technical quality of DP's DVD's blows Vivid DVD's away. It will be nice to see you in movies shot in HD and presented on high quality anamporphic widescreen DVD's.

I guess we're not going to get an official announcement from DP until their airbrush squad is finished coming up with photos of Janine that look only vaguely like Janine.
What do you want to bet that they take all the tattoos off?
This is good news, I am looking forward to see the DP stuff, but overall I hope Janine does not leave the scene soon, I am still very thrilled about her "comeback".

Good question i am going to ask if austyn will be in to, i am not sure and have not heard anything, so i really dont know, but so far is a great cast, even better now with janine in it. Looking foward to it.
Hey now. I never knew Janine was with Jesse. I don't really know about peoples personal lives & who they dated so this is all new knowledge to me. But that sucks for him cause he's missing out on a great woman. I just can't wait to work alongside of her on set. She's been in the business longer then I have & I think, well I know is alot wiser then me & I could probably learn something from her as I do everyone. But, I'm very excited she has joined our company & wish her only the best.

I get the feeling that Vivid exercises alot of control over the way its women look, adhering religiously to the big- or long-hair look. The women, while beautiful, end up looking like carbon copies of each other. Maybe Janine can now cut her hair short and develop a bit more independence in the way she appears. I've seen her in short hair in an earlier movie (Seven Deadly Sins?) and she looks even hotter.
Dude, Arthur, that was evil, to suggest a haircut like that! We already live under constant threat of beautiful women cutting their hair off, with all these Makeover shows on tv where the gay hairdresser's main idea is to cut all the woman's hair off every time, no matter whether she needs it or not. It's best just to let the beautiful long haired woman be, and eventually her own internal clock will chime and she'll know that it's time for a new hairstyle. (Yes, for those of you who live in a gooey timezone, that internal clock would technically be her creampie clock, but for the rest of us it's good intense performances filmed well that make the world go round, pie or no pie.)
Still, it's an interesting question, maybe DP wouldn't mind seeing a slightly different look that says "I'm with DP now." Like a DP brand recognition thing? But they'd probably want to be included in talks beforehand instead of being surprised by it, afterhand. That's how I divide my day, by the way. Part of the day is before hand, the rest is after hand. Well, good luck with the new gig. And this Pirates movie isn't even going to make it into stores, is it? Sounds like such a hot ticket item that people will snatch it up before it has a chance to get shelved.
