However, although it was produced in 1986, the year Traci turned 18 (she was born 7 May 1968) it is apparently considered illegal, her only legal porn flick being "Traci I Love You".

For one thing, it seems that guys in the skin trade in Japan don't like their women fucking any other than Asian guys. I suppose there are finacial and cultural reasons for their existence.
They are notoriously expensive (the japanese apparently being much more spend happy), the girls are paler skinned and taller (interestingly many westerners prefer the darker skinned [and poorer] 'Issan' girls), the girls wear elegant long silk dresses (as opposed to short skirts and heels in western bars) and most importantly...they offer kareoke!

Most Japanese shy away from the beer bars and many of the go-go's.
However, there is one go-go in Bangkok where East meets West big time. The customer ratio is roughly 60% Japanese 40% western.
The girls are quite japanese in appearance (lighter skinned, smaller/slimmer, trendy hairstyles [with highlights], younger than average and quite 'doll' like).

I guess the girls may have a slight bias towards the Japanese as they are known to spend more for sex/company.

And as any honest Bangkok bargirl will tell you... "Thai lady work bar for money, not for fun".

From the mouth of Yoshi, Oriental Dreams Pictures prez, who would know better than anybody, one of his biggest problems in bringing over Japanese AV starlets to work with white/black guys is that MOST OF THEM DON'T WANT TO, because of penis size and perceived cleanliness/disease levels. The Japanese traditionally do happen to be extraordinarily xenophobic, though that attitude has seen some deep changes among the children of the last generation.

there are other Japanese actresses currently working here besides the ones mentioned -- Kammy has done many, many scenes already, there is Asami, and there is Yumi (sometimes credited as Lily).

Kammy, Yumi and an older but still sexy Osaka model named Hiroko are all in my next Madness release, AZN ULTRA IDOLS! from Madness Pictures, where they have an orgy with Brian Surewood, Mr. Marcus and Tyler Knight.

But Kammy, Yumi, Asami all moved here. Hiroko was on vacation. Most J-girls wouldn't bother to come over even if they had no problem with American actors/standards because even minus the exchange rate that works against the American dollar, they are paid far better at home, without investing in airfare, hotel, etc, and potentially being at the mercy of a unknown quantity (American producers -- and if you think that our little "mishap" last year where performers came up HIV wasn't keenly noted by the Japanese porn industry, well, talk to Yoshi, not me)

Instead, now finally alerted to the commercial potential of the Asian girl genre, they film the same tiny pool of easily available at the moment American-Asian actresses over and over, and that includes both Jules and "Slant Eye." IMO, he one thing Don Fernando deserves props for is that the story of his career is going out and finding new, unshot girls where ever he can!

Also -- there's some interest in Caucasian women in J-porn, but not very much. The mainstream of the J-porn industry puts their particular premium on physical beauty as opposed to ability to do DAP, DPP, blah blah blah ...

I assume these japanese studios can sell the uncensored versions (no pixelation) of their movies to the rest of the world. So why aren't there more hardcore Japanese titles available to us? I still see Japanese films with pixalation being sold on various websites.

Of the actresses you mentioned, I've only watched Kammy. To be blatantly blunt, I don't think she has the look to be in the ranks of top actresses in Japan. I think that a lot of frequent JAV watchers see what I am talking about. I don't know about the other actresses in your movie. If you find those actresses including Kammy extraordinary attractive and think that they could be top actresses, that's fine. My remark is not meant to be a knock-down on your preference.

And while I am an advocate of recognizing the unique beauty of each individual, I will readily agree with you that Kammy -- as well as the other girls I mentioned -- are not on a level with top AV actresses. Though Lily has a breathtaking body ...
