It is so sad this thread has died as has Jay Sins productions. He leaves a big hole in the industry. You would think someone out there would step up to fill the void. His niche was wildly popular. I personally think he just lost interest or the party side of him took over. I do know the quality of production went steadily downhill in the last couple years. Think it is pretty clear from his previous posts that the downturn in the industry is making LA a lot harder for Jay and others to stay in such an expensive city and produce at the former rate. And the TS stuff makes more money despite what the most vocal posters on here may think. Certainly the last few posts haranguing Jay and telling him to take the criticism and get back to work are no encouragement for him to engage here beyond posting his latest vid and I don't blame him for that.

Yes I am an Adriano fan but I used to be a Jay Sin fan until he quit producing. I bought almost every movie he ever produced except for the pretty sloppy and cream dreams so what am I supposed to do? I will not sign up for a stupid membership for one scene every few months period so you can rule that out. If that is what I would have to do then yeah I will go to some tube site. The EA sites are a ripoff anyway as it is either old content which I have either bought on DVD or I don't want. So the question is are you or are you not going to quit complaining and produce some new movies? There is nothing you or I can do about assholes who pirate your or anyone else's work. Personally I would love to see you get back on the horse and ride. I have always thought you were the best in the business and would love to buy some more DVDs from you. But until you make err a new movie I will continue to buy stuff from other producers and encourage them to shoot what we used to get from you. Business is a tough thing and sympathy only goes so far.

I know I sound a little assholish sometimes so sorry. What I am trying to say I'd one has to adapt sometimes and there are many ways to do this without sacrificing quality. For instance just produce single disc sets with four scenes, put only two girls per scene with an occasional scene with three or more girls. Maybe put a solo scene occasionally instead of multiple girls, personally I would love to see some of the nastier more extreme girls doing what they do best by themselves.( dirtygardengirl,ava Devine,Roxy Raye) would be some of my personal faves in solo scenes. Perhaps put the extreme hardcore stuff some of us prefer in Anal Acrobats and Deep Anal Abyss with the tamer stuff in Lil Gaping Lesbians and Gape lovers. Maybe work with camera angles ,more closeups at different angles etc. Any way I would think if Jay really wanted he could do some things that would increase his bottom line while still attracting good paying customers without ruining his brand. I may be wrong but I am at least offering up some ideas. Any more ideas out there?

Telling Jay you intend to use tubesites if he doesn't increase his rate of production seems unlikely to encourage him. In terms of ideas, none of us have the practical experience to be of much help there but I agree keeping the more extreme gaping and prolapsing to one clearly defined series seems like a good idea. Dana Vespoli's relatively softer ass worship and ass licking videos seem to do well so perhaps experiment with that. If the TS videos do well seems common sense to pursue that more, Joey seems to be doing very well and there seems to an appetite for better quality TS material out there. Lots of performers seem to be relocating to Vegas so maybe work from there, since a lot of Jay's material is studiobound where it is shot doesn't seem too pressing. That's assuming the law in Vegas isn't too much an issue and Jay doesn't mind living there.

Good point BS What I meant is that to pay the price of a DVD each month for one scene is a waste of money given that I am predisposed to a certain genre or fetish and really the only directors that really interest me are Jay and Mike it isn't worthwhile especially when I usually buy most of Mike's on DVD anyway. And yes I do go to tube sites occasionally just to see if I want to buy a particular movie. Sometimes I don't buy one I thought by trailers I would want. On the other hand more often I see something in the movie that wasn't highlighted in the trailers. But to be honest I buy everything Jay produces except the aforementioned series that have never interested me and I even have a couple of those. I don't know what the economics are in California so I can only offer suggestions as to what I think might help. If Jay wants to stop producing ,fine I just wish he would say so emphatically and perhaps mentor someone to take the reins, but I suspect that he is up in the air about it and I don't blame him for that either. I would love to take a shot at it but what I know about the industry is zilch except I know what I like.

Agreed BRS how could a few of us get some models together and maybe four or five of us get together and maybe each of us direct a scene with the models of our choice, maybe representing each of our tastes. I think some people don't have such a strong grasp of the English language, so their complaints come off much more "offensive" than they perhaps intend. I do agree with budlover though, and I can see why some fans are frustrated. We're talking about many people's absolute most favorite producer. So it can be hard for some loyal fans to take the lack of activity. But we must also respect the wishes of Jay. Although telling loyal fans to just "move on", might not be the safest way to approach it hehe
