With the end of THE MATADOR series from private (#15 being the last), it's great news to hear the beginning of a new anal based series. The first title is called BACCHANAL and is released under the new Private E- xtreme banner.
Question to Roger (or anyone else) is; WILL THIS TITLE GET A DVD RELEASE SOON or will Private wait for the rest of the MATADOR dvd's to be released first ?
My hope is that this new film will see Jean-Yves Le Castel back in top form because the last 5 Matador films were rather poor (when compared to #10 for example).
I'll try and sneak my comment here, so that hopefully we won't have to fuss and fight over it once again. The new Private batch officially signals the end of everything Private has ever stood for. Why Milton chose to permanently alter his company identity like this, is obvious. Apparently, the "global" market that Private reached in its heydays was in reality far less remunerative than American cable tv. So long, Private. It's been 10 fantastic years.

According to Jaded, this video is scheduled for release on March 20. Two of the girls in the picture from Private News (Sarah and Sandy) did double anal in Debauchery 12. Maybe this one is hot. His son, Milton Jr. doesn't give a f@#k about that vision, and after so many misses (Millerman, Kamasutra, Gaia, Helen Duval, the artsy fartsy Pirate, Kovi, Bellocchio, Fetish Machine, Private Movie, the divorce from you-know-who) and a few minor hits (the Pirate done right and maybe Matador) he's found his heart of gold. So now we have photographers that ape Earl Miller and an Italian director who carbon-copies clips from early 90's Playboy TV (yeah, that's cutting-edge, right), sadly wasting the incredible female talent that, not Private, not anymore, but Eastern European model agencies, make available (even Michelle is included in the Kovi package).
Private's getting harder? Sorry, the next movie will be a cartoon (may the ghost of Fritz the Cat haunt their dreams forever).

From Wally:I do agree that Private seems to be going the way of Wicked since Pierre Woodman left, but Pierre Woodman seems to be going softer with Hustler. Larry Flint does not seem to want the real hard stuff. In Anal Intensive, the anal sex seems relatively soft and there was no double anal. Yes, Woodman, Private Video and many other landmarks all came out under Jr's tenure. He's just a business man, he goes where the profit is. But it's also true that, step after step, he demolished the Private style and "feel". It's already been said ten thousand times: somebody else made better and harder products (EA, Anabolic), beautiful girls are everywhere, amateurs like Kovi can parrot any past and future Private director, so the lazy new Private chose to follow suit. That's the personal side. Far from being the truth. But from a porn-history's point of you, the change is pretty obvious. And it's not an opinion. My favorite restaurant is now serving fast food.
I'm worried about Private too - and yes, what concerns me is the increasing Americanisation of the range. I saw the Bacchanal video last week and it was okay. The guys frolic out in the vineyards screwing all the grape picking babes. There are two dps and no double anal. The dp girls are Slavka and Myli. Slavka is one of the dp and dap girls in the last scene of Debauchery 12 and she went by the name Sarah in D12. I have never seen Myli before, and the names of girls in Private always confuses me. Incidentally, Sandy (not the Sandy of Matador 15/LWCBBMD14), the other dp and dap girl in the last scene of D12 was also in Bachannal as Jana, and she truly looks beautiful in Bachannal.
The production is excellent and there is beautiful original music accompanying the video. The girls are really cute. The camerawork is mostly from a distance and soft.
