But they have the reinforced heel and toe and back seam. I can't tell by the trailer if they are full-fashioned, or just have the back seam for looks. Perfect for more pinup-y clothes, and that suits me just fine. Is every scene what I'd have envisioned? Probably not. Jenna's tastes and mine don't always line up perfectly. But will I still LOVE it? In all probability, absolutely yes.

Really? I actually quite prefer the filmy look in LUHD. I very much wanted LUHD to have a unique feel.. a bit arty if you will... I think it was amazing... but to each their own.. I will pick and choose which camera Van Styles & I use based on the individual project.. some will be shot with that camera and some with others...
First of all: the camera used in LUHD is a completely different one than used in that thread from 2008... Second of all: I take offense to the "improperly edited" comment. Van and I spend a lot of time going over the movie and making sure it was the was I wanted it. I am sorry you do not like the style I chose for this movie but please do not insult our work. Let me just chime in here real quick about this, as an editor myself I can tell you there really isn't such a thing as improper editing. Editing is a complex process that is all about the preferred methods of the person creating the movie. There can be lazy editing, in which the shots are just slapped together without any attention to continuity, but improper? Any time someone starts to edit a scene, it is purely their intuition that creates the flow of the movie. If you don't like it, it is really just a matter of personal taste. For example: I personally am not a big fan of Van Styles because I haven't liked the shooting style I saw in his movies, but I wouldn't put him down for it because I know he shoots the way he likes his scenes to be shot. So I wouldn't say anything is improper about the way a movie is made (except for shots of the dude's ass, that should be illegal), just a matter of taste.
