I think on a yearly basis other girls won out (Cassidey, Devon, Taylor Rain, Amy Reid very briefly, my all-time fav Keri Sable, Amia Miley, and current fav Lily Labeau), but Jenna was always in the play-offs or finals due to her consistent performance scene after scene, year after year. One of the great things was that you could always count on a new scene from her every week or every other week. I savored all of these scenes fully during both her initial and second time working boy-girl. Having started her own studio, this actually became a bit more challenging because there would be no new product for six weeks to a month and then all of a sudden it would spike with six scenes coming out. The wardrobe was a little too consistent (stockings most of the time) and scenes a little too washed out witht the strong lighting. I would try to pace myself and watch the scenes over several weeks, but with so much product out there, it is more challenging. I do have every Jennaration X title, though. I'll admit when she went G/G only for Jill Kelly, I followed her less closely, but I was definitely one of the first to buy Jenna Haze Darkside when she came back as an independent contractor. Would she be able to match the energy and enthusiasm of her performancs in Flesh Hunter 1 and 2. While she didn't top those performances with any single scene, she came very close with every one and the tease portions of the wedding scene and maid scene are among my most frequently watched and the discs as a whole are great. If she never does the IR airtight or a Kink scene that I've been hoping for, that's fine. On the other hand, this relationship may end like the one she had previously (with the JKP camera-man?) and she'll raise her game even higher the third time around. If so, I'll be ready and waiting to buy Dark Side Volume 2. [Link] |

At first I wasn't overly thrilled with how much of Just Jenna had been previously released on her website, so even as what she calls an Uberfan, I'm still not an automatic Yes Man to her. But that "rumored" scene listing sounds more like someone's extreme wishful thinking. And it completely ignored that Just Jenna 2 will probably follow the same format as the first one, a mix of solo and BG scenes, and a mix of completely new scenes, and scenes on DVD for the first time but which have been on her website before. The last time I saw her in person she talked about JJ2 being harder than the first, but she was still planning it, and she didn't want me to talk about her plans on the internet in case her plans changed again before JJ2's release. Of course, every thing she does in her own movies is her decision. Sometimes she comes up with ideas for scenes all on her own, other times she's adapting ideas submitted to her, or brainstormed on the set by the cast and crew, but it's still her decision to shoot it that way. Who are "the fans" and what is their will? "The fans" are not not monolithic. There are porn fans who only watch solo and GG stuff, and other fans who get off on double anal and prolapsed rectums. Jenna has never been one to do something that actually turns her off just because some fans want to see it. [Link] |
