Well, is Jessica Drake leaving Wicked considering how long she's been in the industry? I wouldn't call Jesse Jane an adequate replacement for her though I would like to see Jesse get it on with Alektra Blue.
I don't think Jesse has anything to worry about. I've never seen Bibi in a scene performing but just looking at her and listening to her I don't think she's really that big a deal. If simply being younger and perhaps more of a wild thing is all it takes to become a bigger star than Jesse, Jesse would've been dethroned as DP's top girl long ago.
So if I can Twitter CSI this right-- Around 5 PM, Jesse says that she's leaving Digital Playground in September "thanx to a certain owner of DP" and that she's going to resign (I assume she meant 're-sign') with another company. She deletes the tweets a half-hour later. She spends the next 7 hours on-and-off slagging on BiBi Jones, their newest contract girl (full disclosure: my pornstar crush). Riley Steele joins in. Kayden Kross and Selena Rose say they love Jesse, and nothing else. Stoya stays the hell away from Twitter. At 10, BiBi responds; says Jesse's jealous of the reviews, is hating on her, and is old. (just like CSI lol) From the drama earlier in May, it sure seems like Jesse's in a jealous frame of mind re: BiBi and an angry one re: Digital Playground. She had a phone call with DP's owner around 5 PM and didn't hear what she wanted to (about what? No idea). If DP then called sometime later, gave her what she wanted, and was/is going to fire BiBi -- then why the talking to Tee Real and Brad Armstrong about work? If DP didn't call, then what's the knowledge basis for BiBi leaving? It's a soap opera, but I'd bet on there not being a second call from DP and them not firing BiBi. I'd also guess that Jesse will continue to shoot with DP through September and that on the 19th of that month Wicked will sign Jesse to a 3-year contract. The one thing I do know is that this isn't all viral marketing for 'The Fighter.' And that whoever signs Jesse next needs to keep her the F away from Twitter -- both of these blow-ups have started with Jesse going off without any known provocation. And the whole fighting thing. Is there anything that I'm missing?

it's my opinion but I think dp has created a monster in jesse jane. she doesn't understand that it is the name jesse jane that is selling her movies more than anything. if she decides to leave dp, her sales will tank because she will be another name and it won't sell near the same numbers. it's business everyone. wicked would unlikely pay for her trademark even if dp decides to sell it for a hefty price. jesses best move is to keep her mouth quiet on twitter cuz it is hurting her than helping her. it always seems like jesse starts the trash talking first and seems unrattled with jealousy and rage. dp really should consider shutting off her Twitter if they are smart.
Digital Playground with keep which ever girl they believe can make them the most money. Simple as that. Personally, I'll think they will side with Jesse. Not because she's in the right but because she makes the most money for DP. Even if DP doesn't give her what she wants, she'll get signed by another studio immediately (it would appear Wicked is the front-runner). Her fans will follow her wherever she goes. She knows this and so does DP. Even with a name change, Wicked, Vivid or Adam & Eve would be fools not sign her if they got the chance. She's all ready starting recruiting her current followers to her other Twitter account under her real name. A good marketing campaign broadcasting her photo with her new name will quickly defuse any fan confusion. Jesse Jane may be entering the twilight of her career but she still sells a boatload of movies for DP. She still looks great and can outperform more than 90% of the girls working in the business today. She is also one of the biggest draws at conventions/appearances. At the Exxxotica Miami show last week they had to bring out a rope line with a couple security guys to wrangle the crowd at her table. She was the only girl at the entire show they had to do this for. No else had a crowd that big.
jesse seems like she's very insecure with her position right now. Hmmm wonder what happened on the phone call? like I stated on my last post, samantha lewis have always tried to fix the problems with the girls and not to start any gossip... but just CSIing with girls ive talked to who are familiar with dp over the years, joone has the reputation of messing around with the girls and their contracts over there so maybe jesse was referring to him??? its getting crazy. whatever it is as a company they really need to work this out. and jesse really should stay away from twitter and lessen the damage already done

I got in contact with a pretty serious person about this, hopefully they'll be able to shed more light on the situation, whatever it is. @Ilovemyporn -- That's interesting about how Samantha and Joone interact/divide labor, and my gut's telling me that you're as close to the truth as anyone. Jesse's actions make the most sense in that light (to me, at least) - the only things I really know about her are based on this month's twitter outbursts, and it just seems like she's 'on tilt'. And maybe win the Super Bowl If I had to make a prediction, it's that either this all ends up simply not being addressed - DP wants BiBi for the future (i.e., in 2 years she's a huge star), and Jesse's more valuable to DP (and DP's more valuable to Jesse) for the time being. People generally act in their best interests, so the status quo probably gets maintained -- for two years, natch; or that Jesse leaves and has diminished industry stature over at Wicked. I will predict that someone puts a muzzle on her Twitter, though. Again: "This Ain't Digital Playground XXX." We all know Hustler's going to end up making it. This whole JJ vs BB has gone quite viral. All I can say is Jesse, watch your backside and I don't mean your asshole. It looks like BB will stop as nothing to try and knock you off your perch. regardless of whether jesse thinks it's fake or not, that's more grownup than what jesse has gone. bibi looks now to be more the mature one in the bunch. it would be nice to see jesse do a gesture like that for once. riley and jesse should take a page out of bibi book and be the grownup. jesse just seems like an immature child right now blasting other girls when they are getting more attention than she is. it's a real shame. bibi definitely gets my respect in this move. very classy indeed. ^^ Whatever she's doing in Vegas may be her last appearance as Jesse Jane, but she will still be under contract with Digital Playground until September. She can't start shooting new scenes for other companies until then.
So this is the 3rd time in a month Jesse (the person that plays the 'Jesse Jane' character? Can we say her actual name? Uggh - I'm going to go with 'CT' - we all know who it is) has said she's leaving Digital? She's swapped the followers on her Twitter list, so 'Jesse' has 3000 or so and 'CT' now has the 75000+. Who knows what the real story is, but something tells me that Lukeford will have a bare-bones "anonymously"-sourced story with Jesse's version up soon, and Jesse will probably go off in September. Anyone want to get some action on this? My first prediction was that it would all get tamped out, because the most money for all parties was to do so -- and that doesn't seem to have come true. So does she get a traditional contract (Wicked, Vivid, Bluebird, Adam&Eve)? A website-exclusive like Molly Cavalli? Just her own, personal website (this way she'd at least own her own content, which maybe able to create scaleable income)? I don't think most people who are commenting about Jesse Jane leaving DP know all the facts and could be drawing the wrong conclusions. I've heard that Ali joone who owns dp with Samantha Lewis have partnered up with Jesse or cindys tequila company and has created conflict from there. So I'm thinking... That must be a weird position for Samantha to be in because Jesse is promoting the tequila with Ali joone but Samantha is not part of the other company but DP is probably partially funding the tequila in some way probably. It just eventually have to cross paths if you are running silmultaneous companies. So if this is the case Samantha gets screwed on this because he could use DP dollars for his other business. I mean does anyone have any theories given this information? There is a pic of Jesse her husband and Ali joone at the bar convention marketing the tequila. It's just all too interesting. ^^ That is incorrect. Diosa Tequila is own by solely Cindy Taylor and her husband, Digital Playground is not a partner. The reason she is using her real name is so she can be independent of Digital Playground which owns the rights to Jesse Jane(TM). You won't find the name Jesse Jane anywhere near a Diosa advertisement. This was done long before the feud with Bibi Jones started or the rumors of her leaving DP began circulating. Jesse/Cindy started Diosa so she would have a sustainable income source after she retires from porn. I believe her plan is to continue doing porn for a few more years until the tequila brand becomes self-supporting and then she can retire.

The tweets and backstory aren't really of interest to me. I'm a fan of Jesse and don't care what she's called or what company she ends up with I'll still be interested in seeing her perform if she's still doing good scenes. My biggest concern is that she doesn't end up with a company that tries to tame or waterdown her performances for their audience. I think VIVID and WICKED have done that to some of the girls they took on in the past and I stopped watching those girls because of it. The best case senario for me would be for Jesse to go Gonzo but I doubt we'll see that or to start her own company where she has the freedom to do what she wants. As long as Jesse (or whatever her new name is) puts out good performances I don't care where she does them.
I just think the story's fascinating from a soap-opera POV; if (when?) Jesse becomes CT, I honestly wonder if she can maintain the same level of fame -- it would be nice if she could, but I still feel that she'd be more successful as JJ. Now her new material will have to compete against her earlier work that (I assume) Digital Playground still has in the vault, so JJ and CT will be competing against each other for the same sales. Of course, if CT can get a larger payout per scene, she still may come out ahead even with decreased sales. Either that or I don't understand porn economics, which is very possible. Regardless, it looks like that 'last JJ thing' she talked about was a flight school promotion tied in to Top Guns, so it appears DP won't be filming any more with her through the run of her contract. I have no idea what the DP/Samantha/Ali/Tequila dynamic is, but previous articles have said that CT owned Diosa with 2 other investors, neither of whom were named. When JJ went off about how stupid a 'certain owner of DP' was, I assumed she meant Ali, though she could have just as easily been talking about Ms. Lewis. Anyway, when she made the CT-switch, she tweeted about how Diosa was "hers, hers, hers" so I guess those issues may have been dealt with. It's odd, certainly, and I find the gossip part interesting. I think what's most telling about this matter is that Jesse's friends and true professionals like Teagan and Riley Steele and Kayden Kross are on Jesse's side and not on whatshername's side. That should tell you everything you need to know IMHO.
