I figured I would share this journey here as well for those who don't follow me on Twitter. Jill Hamilton published a piece in Cosmopolitan this month on "The 12 Best Porn Movies Money Can Buy". When I read through the list, I noticed that I had only seen one of the twelve titles. Having been reviewing adult movies for 17 years now, I found it shameful that I could only have seen one of Jill Hamilton's best list and have started a journey of watching all 12 of the movies. I will be sharing reviews of all of them as I go along. The second movie that I have watched is from a studio I had never heard of Porna Ohh La La called Room 208: Julia Roca & Sylvan Garcia. Room 208: Julia Roca & Sylvan Garcia is an all sex short film that is the first in what appears to be a series of four films that have also been released all together on DVD called Room 208 from Desire Media. The third film, Snapshot, is from Pink and White Productions and director/writer Shine Louise Houston. I had seen Shine Louise Houston's The Crash Pad back in the day and loved it but somehow Pink and White Productions fell off my radar. Getting back on topic that Snapshot that really has my interest going and that is definitely a film I will look into.

I didn't post on my Twitter but I recently found out that Levi Richards passed away in 2015 (under horribly sad circumstances) and, proving I am way behind on the times, that John Christopher passed away in the early 80s.
The fourth movie, Tips and Tricks for Suckin' Dicks, was made by the hosts of the YouTube body positive and sex-positive YouTube channel ComeCurious Florence Barkway and Reed Amber on Erika Lust's XConfessions label. At its heart, Tips and Tricks for Suckin' Dicks is an instructional video on blowjobs, however, the short film does so much more; it is also comedic look at sex with an incredibly sensuous blowjob performed by Heidi Switch on Parker Marx, both of whom are excellent in their roles. Part five is Gaspar Noe's "mainstream" movie Love. Love is the story of a failed romance told in a non-linear style. Gaspar Noe has combined a story, that could stand on its own, with hardcore sex, that enhances the story, for Love. Love also contains one of the least graphic, yet most erotic, threeways that this reviewer has seen. If you fast forward over story, don't bother with this one as you will be disappointed. Oddly never seen LOVE although I do like some of Noe's other films. He has the good taste to include a poster for Defiance in one of the sex scences (I saw it in a screen shot). It is on Netflix so what am I waiting for?
