Why, so you can join in on the hate? With well over 10,000 films being produced every year, I find it hard to believe that (1) male performer can't be avoided or is somehow in every scene. I can't say that the male talent doesn't matter in a scene to me, but I can say they don't matter "that" much to me. The women matter most to me, and to a great extent, have more of the onus placed on them in my case. The great ones IMO make it happen pretty much everytime whomever they get paired with. 4-5 guys aren't gonna convince me or the industry that one guy should never be hired. Only so many male performers to go around and very few males can actually do the job day-in-and-day-out. If you don't like a certain performer, don't buy anything they are in or may be in. I mean it's not rocket science. I haven't seen John Strong in a film in maybe 6 months, and I wasn't trying to avoid him either.

melp i think the point people were making is when it comes to redlight you can't just pick one of the other choices as john strong is in every release usually in multiple scenes. When companies only use the same 2-3 guys over and over they run the risk of people not buying based on the male actors. It's their choice i guess but maybe if the people in porn spent a little more time listening to the customer and a little less time crying about how file sharing is hurting dvd sales then things might pick up.

I haven't seen any Stefano performances that invovled rough stuff, as Chris said it probably has a lot more to do with the director rather than the performer. Really? I know that is how the best directors operate, but I didn't know it was that common in gonzo in general for the performers to be allowed to follow their mood in that way. Kind of reminds me of that scene in Exhausted where Holmes claims that Bob Chinn allows him to block his own scenes...

I disagree with that. I think the slapping/choking etc. has just become the norm across large sections of essentially "non-fetish" porn. This represents a problem for people like me as I find that pretty much the first sign of a guy's hand around a girl's throat and my dick goes soft. I was going to start a thread about how obnoxious this guy is and I bumped into this thread. It seems a lot of people concur. John Strong should do us a favor and stop showing his ass crack on camera. He seems to like spreading his asshole to get tongued. Judging from everyone's posts, it's obvious that most don't like John Strong because of his seeming lack of personality.
