Never been a big John Strong fan but there are several others that I simply will not watch for whatever reason. Some are overrated and some I've just seen in so many videos I can't watch another. ^I don't know how accurate Data18 is. Scenes that were shot in 2005 and recycled umpteen times in the last 15 years are probably counted again and again. He is also sure to shoot many b/g scenes, especially in the early 2000s. But I don't think he's a typical b/g guy like Manuel, because he's not built that way for the camera. Also, I think there are typical GB/DP/Blowbang guys that are primarily used in scenes like this.
At the same time, I don't want to rule out the possibility that these actors also shot many b/g scenes, since there were countless small budget studios in the 2000s. But I lack the insight for that.
^ The first page of the Data 18 results are scenes that all look recent with recent talent (Kenna James, Lacy Lennon, Penelope Kay etc.). I have no doubt that some of that number will be compilations and re-releases, but not a huge percentage. I'm simply pointing out that it isn't rare for John Strong to be cast in B/G scenes.
It's understandable why JS isn't a favoured performer, but he's better than other guys like Deen or Dupree.
