But it seems that you have made some adjustments that degrades the color (almost making the skin color of performers "pinkish") and the lightning is extremely bright, so the contrast gets lost. I don't know if this is partly because you are shooting in different parts of the house, as I see more white walls walls and lightning from outside as background - look at the scene with Allie Haze in Gag Reflex as example; the white walls, the light coming from outside. Or look at the Bailey Blue/Cameron Canada scene in Gag Reflex; those blue eyes, white skin, blonde hair, all are washed away because of these choices/changes. I compare that to Facial Overload 2 or or SID10 and it's like night and day. And then you have the not so top-notch make-up that is more and more frequent and lack of sexy underwear and outfits that you focused on keenly (now you focus of the drool), something I found to be trademarks of yours. Is there an explanation for this, Jonni? Am I going blind, or have I spotted some artistic (or logistic) choices you have made lately? [Link]

But regardless, are these effects I am reporting on a conscious choice from you? I mentioned that I didn't like the make-up on Vicki Chase and you responded that it's an artistic choice to try something new, and THAT I can respect. I wonder if it's the same with the rest? Can you see what I see? I mentioned two particular scenes in Gag Reflex as examples. Can you look at them and say: a) I understand what you are pointing at, but I made that choice and got the results I wanted b) I understand what you are pointing at, I had trouble with x and y, and this is what we ended up with c) I do not understand at all what you are talking about. Click to expand This is just a follow up to Jonni - Are you even using any lighting kits in your solo productions or are you just using the natural light. I have no idea how 'low light' sensitive new camera's are but I wouldn't be surprised if you could just white balance it to the natural light and then shoot. You mentioned a new camera - mind sharing your choice? I have no complaints in this area - just curious. [Link]

You can hear the camera clicking and see the changes in the picture, but most importantly, it causes video stuttering. Also not liking the stronger fish-eye lenses. When there is even slight camera movement the distortion on the sides of the screen is annoying. It is also an issue during the tease, when the camera is panning around and capturing the girl, especially when she is lying horizontally... legs on one side and head on the other get stretched. Winston has the camera at his side and slightly angled up. From time to time he reaches over to adjust it, creating movement. The fish-eye distortion is most visible at the outsides of the frame - the walls, pictures, bathroom door, and at times Gabi's face is not centered, but at the very top or corners of the frame, and it becomes stretched and distorted. In the same scene, starting at the 30:40 mark, the exposure levels switch back and forth and at 31:45 causes video stutter. Are you telling me that I should not believe my eyes? I really can't believe you just stated that you don't use some degree of convex lens. Do you think we are all blind? [Link]
