As somebody who can understand the point of view for both sides regarding watermarks, if you're going to complain about them Jules should be VERY far down the list. I'd like to see them a little closer to the corner, but at least his watermarks are small and stationary which make them easy for me to filter out. Hi Jules, I am talking about seeing the watermark on my Internal Damnation 5 DVD, not downloading content from the web site. I don't have a problem with watermarking web content, but I do have an issue when there is a white watermark on the edge of my HDTV when I'm trying to watch a DVD (especially one that I just paid $30 for) which I found very distracting. Of course not. But the fact is, watermarks are eyesores, and to be frank, I don't want them (and shouldn't have them) in my DVDs. I would also question the value of adding them to DVDs in the first place, especially if you have web downloads of the same material with a watermark (and again, to be absolutely clear, I am aware that DVDs can also be ripped and converted to downloadable video files). In any event, I won't be buying anymore DVDs if they're watermarked, and frankly, I'm tired of downloading videos onto my already bloated 1 TB hard drive--the only reason I would need a portable hard drive or expansion is because of porn downloads. I'll be happy to support the companies that know the distinction between someone who wants to pay $30 for easy access to hundreds or thousands of web downloads for a month, and someone who is willing to pay the same price for four to five scenes pressed onto a commercial DVD.
to be clear, most content pirated from us is ripped from our dvds thats why we watermark dvds, weve been doing so for a long time now, i'm surprised this is an issue now

uhh most of those releases are mandingo not lex plus lex has barely been in any jules movies this year, actually i think he's only been in black owned.....also im looking to c if a certain scene that was filmed last year will b in the nxt LTI installment so thats another reason.....
To me, though, it just smacks of telling the customer to quit buying DVDs and just start downloading from the web site--in many ways, it's exactly like I downloaded a bunch of 1080 resolution scenes (probably including the BTS), scaled them to 480i, and burned them to a blank DVD-R disc. And I don't mean to be rude, but I question your idea that most of your piracy comes from your DVDs, mainly because when I search for your DVDs on release week in Google, I can already see, often on the first page, torrents of their scenes in various resolutions, which I have to assume are coming directly from the membership site, since, in one example, I saw Pump My Ass Full of Cum 3 scenes online in 1080 resolution a full week before the DVD came out. And if you consider that it makes a hell of a lot more sense for a pirate to pay $100-$200 per year to download every scene you upload on the web site, versus buying less than 10 DVDs for that amount, well... I was just surmising that I think nowadays, it would be easier and cheaper for pirates to simply skip the DVD route and just use the web uploads, since (I'm assuming) most everything in terms of sexual content now gets uploaded to the web site, either just before or just after the accompanying DVD release date. And if, as you say, the best scenes are uploaded to the site first, well then, that just makes it all the more enticing for them. Assuming you update Mon-Fri, and someone joins for one month ($30), they would get access to approximately 20 new scenes in that time, which is roughly the equivalent of 4 DVDs of content, and if someone joined for three months at $60, they would get about 60 new scenes (or about 12 DVDs worth) for the cost of about 2-3 DVDs. *I don't mean to prolong the discussion, I only wanted to clarify this.* But, I'm sure rips from DVDs can be a problem too, and you would know better than me, so I'll defer to you on this. Brazzers monthly subscription is 20$, They have 14 scenes coming off every week which monthly makes 14x4=56 new scenes. Also in DVD distribution you bare the cost of dvd printing, distribution and of course seller discount. Consumers are not willing to pay this cost for low resolution DVDs unlike you. I agree to the fullest: more DPs! I can't get enough of this act, especially when the women in porn just keep getting hotter and hotter.
