I understand if newer DVDs are still being updated and whoever runs that site wants to mix them up, but I am talking about scenes that should be up there long ago. I made a list of the missing scenes I noticed and this is no way complete as I haven't checked every single movie on that site. I am a fan of both and I'd like to see their complete catalog available on jj.com, especially with a 30 dollar price tag. The site doesn't seem to have a support section so here's hoping someone from jjv see this post and do something about it. [Link]

And also how come JulesJordan.com and Assfactory.com are still different sites? Assfactory rarely updates and some recent updates have been duplicates from JulesJordan.com. It's been like 2 years now and it's obvious there isn't enough AssFactory content to justify its own site. 1 update every 2 weeks is not enough. Why not merge them? [Link]

I agree that it makes no sense to have two sites where one has so little content VS the other one and worse doesn't update as often as the superior one but I guess there are still enough people joining ass factory to warrant keeping the status quo. Maybe one day Jules will only have one site but even if he doesn't then I know that I will never join ass factory. There simply isn't enough content to warrant joining that site. [Link]

So you'd probably have to ask the individual directors themselves why particular titles do or don't appear on the site. [Link]

I don't believe it's the directors' decision to update 4 scenes out of 5 from their DVDs and withhold the last one. Does not make sense. [Link]

Senior Member 1679 Posts 2/01	Posted - Dec 30 2013 : 7:39PM A lot of studios mistakenly believe that if they with hold certain scenes, outtakes, behind the scenes from the online site that it will encourage DVD sales. It couldn't be further from the truth. Nobody gives a shit about dvd's anymore. If you get cheap on the updates I'll just move on to a better site. Evil Angel does something similar. They don't release the behind the scenes or outtakes for every movie, you have to join the director sites or buy the dvd to get them. What they don't realize is that those of us online don't give a shit about dvd's anymore. They also don't release every title online in hi-def thinking you'll join the director site to get the hi-def version...they are wrong. I'll just move on to the next movie that is hi-def. The only people still into dvd's are the older, over 50 crowd who don't want the headache of learning how to navigate the internet. Kink.com has the right idea. Instead of movies they release scenes that are 30 minutes to over an hour long with a little setup. Porn was once an innovator and ground breaker for technology. Now they are living in the past, holding on to and trying to push a format that died a few years ago. Everything is heading to or already at online, hi-def downloading. The sooner they get that through their thick skulls the better. Stop being like the cheapskate restaurant owner who wants to charge for a package of ketchup when the customer has already dropped $30 on food LOL. The web site should be a studios first and foremost concern these days. Make sure it's all in hi-def and keep the updates coming. Forget about dvd's they are dead. The only shit disc wise that moves in any of the stores still open near me are sell-throughs. I've seen 10 dvd's for $20!, keep pushing those discs studios LOL it will be your death knell. Rentals are 6 feet under, same with sales of brand new titles. There is zero reason for a studio to release online content that isn't hi-def these days, zero. Unless it's a classic title. Aside from the fact that I'm watching the porn on a larger screen, the other main reason why I still prefer watching porn on my TV/DVD player is because I've always found the functionality of my remote control much more convenient than the other devices; when it comes to porn, I'm kind of ADD-I can't just sit back and watch the whole scene in it's entirety, I'm constantly pressing buttons like FF, REW, PAUSE and SLOW MOTION. Constantly doin' all of that stuff on computer devices is too tedious, as far as I'm concerned. With all that being said, I know that it's only a matter of time before porn on DVD is gone-just like newspapers and music CDs, their end is inevitable. (Boy, we've really gone here.) I'm surprised that the JJ site doesn't have any support or feedback links. JJV is probably my favorite studio, but I have never bothered to join the site-not just because I prefer to buy/rent their DVDs, but also because of the pricey monthly membership. How are the picture sets for the scenes on the site, are there a lot of pics per scene? [Link]

I also have a mini remote for it so I can watch all the hi-def stuff I download on my tv through my laptop and use a remote to skip through and fast forward as well. I like JJ's stuff too but I won't join the web site. There aren't enough movies from the other directors on the roster, Evil Angel has all their directors movies on their site with the exception of James Deen. Plus, JJ's site is too damn expensive. I got a year subscription to Evil Angel's site for something like $100 while they had a sale going on. JJ's site wants something like $30 a month and you only get like 3 directors movies. They have no long term discount deal at all. It's just not worth it. Blockbuster closed, the biggest chain here in Canada no longer rents dvd's. But the porn studios are still making them and pushing them LOL. Dvd's are the new vhs, it's dead. These studios need to get their heads out of the sand and push their web sites. I would like to see an itunes type service out there for porn. Just like every record company has their stuff on itunes, every porn studio could have their stuff in a huge portal for people to download, pay per scene if they want. A ittle 30 second trailer for each scene could be used to push their product. But it'll never happen because it actually makes sense. [Link]

Click to expand So you will pay between $20-30 for one of JJ's DVD's, which has on average 5 scenes, but you wont pay $30/month for the hundreds of scenes on his site, around 100 of which are in true HD(not counting the 'now in HD' scenes as they were remastered). Wow....... Click to expand Well, I rent more than I buy. Regardless, the problem for me is that I can't stand watching movies on the smaller screen of a laptop, desktop or tablet computer. Sure, if I was more "tech-savvy" I could figure out a way to get the scenes I stream/download on my laptop to appear on my TV, but unfortunately I'm not. Until then, I'll continue to enjoy porn on DVDs until I'm forced to change, which as I already acknowledged, is inevitable. [Link]

Having said that though the quality of the updates is higher IMO (less skipped over scenes, even though there are less scenes.) So it kind of evens out. Definitely worth a month right now (many of his recent movies look good.) It would be totally worth it to have Mike John, DeVoe et al. on the site, that would be killer. But as it is you can get some of that stuff in 720p with a membership to Videobox (or at least you used to, haven't checked in awhile.) Hoping that when (if?) the VB license expires JJ can bring them onto his site. That would be a strong move (particularly because there is so little content being produced like the MJ content.) [Link]

My, how my viewing habits have changed since then...I now do pretty much all of my porn viewing (watching videos and viewing pics) on my iPad and I no longer purchase or rent DVDs. [Link]
