^If you mean officially retired then the answer is no. That said she doesn't appear to be shooting for anyone other than her own platforms. Guyanese Indians (called West Indians vis a vis East Indians from the Indian subcontinent) make up the almost half of the country's population. About a third is black, another quarter or so is mixed native & Indian and mestizo (basically what we consider Central Americans i.e. Mexicans, El Salvadorans etc).

Fun fact: Bollywood movies are a mainstay in many parts of the developing world.

Similar situation in Suriname and Trinidad &T ( more blacks , less Amerindians ) , but in Jamaica the Bharatiya culture is getting lost .

Btw , she has written that she is half-Brazilian , but didn´t respond to me if she actually has West Indian ( East Indian ) roots .
