To clear up whatever rumors are going on, I'm taking a break from working with other male talents, maybe temporarily, maybe permanently. The reason(s) being that it was too much for my body, I was working too much and I had too much down time because of it. Other reasons.. It was putting a lot of pressure on my relationship, I know how upset I get when I see my husband working with other girls, and I can't imagine how it makes him feel. That and it was.. I just.. I really hated being with other guys. When you're in love, it's something different. And I don't think I NEED to work with other talents to have a successful career. If I'm so beautiful and this and that, then why does it matter what DICK I have in me, if you guys are there to watch me, watch ME. What's it matter, if anything, me and salo have an amazing chemistry and I look forward to us having a gonzo scene together. When you see how well we just move together.. I suspect women and men both could agree, the whole idea of porn is to commodify the actors into pieces of lubed-up, slicked-down quavering sex meat; not necessarily a bad thing, when it's all a game performed with consent. For both the men and the women involved that can be pretty hott. I guess there's a whole Dworkin/Butler debate still raging about whether the act of commodifying a woman is essentially wrong, or whether the intent behind it and the participation of the actors can make it okay. I think I fall on the Judith Butler side of things. But then, on the practical side of things, I suppose one partner would be much safer, from a health standpoint. Not three months ago the L.A. Times ran a whole series of pieces on an AIDS-scare that ran through Ms. Chase's new community when an actor who tested positive went on to perform three or four more times. So I suppose Ms. Chase can minimize risk this way. And I think there's a whole period where the aforementioned Raven Riley, *sigh* of whom I am a fan, performed with just one talent: and she's doing fine. Who knows? As for the g/g stuff, seriously, I overdosed on Caged Heat Prison Sluts for eight or nine years, so I'm kinda over it. But Ms. Chase's shy/enthusiastic thing really works for her, so maybe this'll be just the thing that reels me back into the genre. This would imply to me only two scenarios; 1. she needs a large amount of money as quickly as possible, or 2. she is being 'pimped out' against her will (likely by this same Salo monster). If it's the first case, maybe you and other friends of hers should get together to help raise some cash so that she doesn't have to do this job that you know she hates. It's a risk, as you never know if a friend is gonna pay you back, but it's probably a risk worth taking if you really do think your friend is in trouble. If it's the second case, well that makes this Salo situation even more serious. But in either case, shouldn't you be dialing 911 rather than posting on a porn board? Get your friend in touch with a shelter for battered women, rather than watching her cam shows. Hell if she's really your friend you should even be offering up your own couch, or the couch of a female you trust (if she'd feel weird about staying with a male), until you can move her to some place more safe and long-term. Of course, there's also the possibility that she doesn't want to leave him, even though he beats her (and perhaps pimps her out as well). That's always a tough - and delicate - situation to deal with. But as a friend, you've got to try everything you can to convince her that she needs to leave him. Maybe you and some of her other friends can have an 'intervention'-type sit-down with her, but I'd suggest contacting a social worker who deals with battered women about how exactly to conduct the 'meeting' so as to maximize the likelihood of success.
