Kayden has always been one of my favourites. Interestingly, we just had a local weather girl get in trouble for getting a new rad short, shaggy, do without telling her employer. As she breached the appearance clause of her employment contract she is now off air for a while until the hair grows back ...
It's just a shame 90% of her scenes are a big blur of digital enhancements. One talent I'd love to see go all out gonzo. He site scenes are with male talent that need to just retire. No decent facials, nothing. In fact the only decent facial I've seen is in "Stalker" which was epic. Still, extremely hot to watch.
My god she is unbelievably gorgeous. But damn it does she have to freakin scream all the time? I mean really I want sounds of sex not agony. What the hell woman?!

Unfortunately, the companies she's chosen to be contracted with are not very good at showcasing her awesome beauty. Vivid did a decent job filming her but she didn't stay with them very long. Adam & Eve is horrible. Their sex scenes are just a bunch of close-up shots with very little (if any) full-body shots and bad camera angles that don't properly show the penetration. Her current contract with Digital Playground may yield some good things given that Robby D's directing has improved considerably over the last few years. Celeste is still a goddamned awful director though, sorry. Lots of glitz, bad camera angles, intercutting and poor lighting. None of the above companies equal the directing excellence of gonzo companies like New Sensations, Red Light District or Third Degree though. In a perfect world, Kayden would be doing work for Gonzo companies. Instead she's doing the understandably smart thing and being a contract girl. That's good business sense for her and a loss of viewing pleasure for us.

Kayden did anal in her first sexvids released by Vivid right after she came into the biz. She left Vivid quickly, mentioning in her blog not liking the way her career was being handled by Vivid--and, with the help of contact(s), went to Adam & Eve where she never did anal. So, it could be that she felt pressured or poorly advised by the folks at Vivid to do anal (with Tommy Gunn, Nick Manning, others) too early in her career. She's said that she will do anal again, so maybe she will at Digital Playground. As I've said before, porn fans either love her or hate her--but Kayden seems to be very much in control of her own career decisions. And will leave companies when they no longer benefit to her career. Since she just co-starred in DP's big new (original, no parody) production "Body Heat" along with Jesse Jane & Riley Steele, it looks like she's getting what she wants. Well said, but if you have mega star potential going gonzo can be more lucrative - just take a look at Nikki Benz when she left "Pleasure Productions". However, stars like Riley Steele, Kayden will probably end their career as contract girls. We can't win them all. :P
Seems like she's doing a series of movies in which she's someone else's daughter each time. That reminds of the Pat Benetar song Somebody's Daughter. Also on that same Benatar album was Kingdom Key, which reminds me of how Kayden's sex does seem more heavenly than your usual naked person sex. Perhaps this is due to the strength of her face or the feeling you get when watching her that this is an unlikely treat you're witnessing. As if you'd normally need the key to the kingdom to unlock her chastity belt or something, but we were able to pick the lock on that thing using our voyeur superpowers. Maybe it's just a case of the ol' contract star hype successfully influencing me to think of her boink as a momentous event, or maybe there's something cherishable in her demeanor which usually doesn't survive on the porn battlefield. Re: the boob job and my theory for why hers is a source of controversy: needless to say (?), breast surguries come and go while the person can still be a keeper regardless. As others have said, taking the breast surgery gamble is kind of like porn's version of how poker makes you buy your way into the game. Various people's surgical results over the years have been more of a visual hurdle to get past than Kayden's, for various reasons but with it basically boiling down to how some angles make it difficult to ignore the unnatural nature of the breasts. Many of these people got lots of work and acclaim with only an occasional heckle like "what's the deal with her chest?" In Kayden's case, I think the reason this complaint seems to stick more is because her body as a whole is such an abundance of riches that the male eye is dilated wide open drinking it all in to the point that we start to expect overall perfection as if we've perhaps found the holy grail of nudity. In other words, Kayden's cross to bear is that her superhuman bod sets the bar too high for her human surgeon. This may or may not make sense, but it's today's offering of Advanced Porn Psychology, which I teach at Fredericksburg University (F.U.) as part of the Nude Arts Major that's very popular here.

I find it comical that anyone could find fault with Kayden's body. She's a solid 10, which is refreshing considering the sea of hideous beasts that are passed off as "porn stars" these days.
What are the chances of Robbie D shooting a Kayden Kross IR feature for Digital Playground some time in 2011? Maybe cash in on all that Kayden Kross/Tyler Knight buzz from that Adam & Eve parody this February? Kross cannot complain that Knight is a thug/felon/asshole who is difficult to work with; by all accounts Tyler Knight is one of the most professional Black men in the adult video industry. I don't think Kayden or Digital Playground are short of a buck these days. They are doing mighty fine as it is with their existing pretty girl vignette series and mega-bucks features. I don't think the profit motive would play a big part in either moving down the IR route. I don't think the "Blackmaled" series contributed much to Vivid's total profits either.

^ Its not merely about the profit margin. I believe that such a movie would capture some of the mainstream attention buzz which "Tyler's Wood" enjoyed in the NYC metro media since it would fulfill the promise of the aforementioned parody but do so under Digital Playground's corporate banner. The DP IR nichee has been virtually ignored so far this year but as I stated earlier it already exists so why not spread the love around and encompass that segment of the adult video market which enjoys high-quality IR features? It would surely raise the profile of Kayden Kross who many porn customers are still unfamiliar with to this day; until I heard about that Adam & Eve Tiger Wood parody I had NEVER HEARD of Kayden Kross and I have been buying and renting porn since the early 1990's. She looks simply spectacular and she clearly has more to offer than just a pretty face; she has been in the business for a few years it seems why not branch out a little with a Digital Playground IR feature? Nothing over the top, just a fun-loving Interracial plot-based movie showcasing the thesbian talents of Tyler Knight and Kayden Kross, maybe make it college winter break film set in Big Bear, CA or some other winter resort town like SLC, UT. It about all the publicity and the expanded fanbase for future projects which DP could create by capitalizing on the free media buzz of Tyler and Kayden's previous video venture this February. Is there any reason why Kayden Kross shouldn't become a mega-star like Tori Black and Sasha Grey? I'm not talking about becoming an IR goddess like Black and Grey but merely about seizing the opportunity to grow as an artist, Kross doesn't do anal or blowbangs, so why not make IR the 2011 vanguard for Kayden Kross and let Digital Playground shake up the porn market. Given Kayden's history of short-stay contracts and DP's history of legal wrangles with their contract stars, Kayden may well become a free agent one day soon. I think Kayden will become a superstar (even AVN FPOTY winner?) one day - most likely when she is a free agent and doing all those things that we have now come to expect of the top female performers, including IR, anal and gang bangs.

A lot of truth in this. Just look at what happened when Nikki Benz left all this contract mainstream garbage, become a free agent and went gonzo. Kayden's popularity is being held back imo, imagine seeing her with regular scenes on mofos, bangbros, or any gonzo site, with features with companies like Jules Jordan and so forth. It's best to do it while you are relatively fresh as well. I guess there's some comfort a contract can offer depending on your intentions. I mean the standard for female performers in terms of looks is way up there, but she'd have a lot more to offer than appearing once a few months in some over-touched movie scene.

I think most of her scenes are without condoms - I can't recall too many recent ones where condoms are used. I suppose the big problem with Kayden is the lack of variety in the guys she performs with. Always seems to be either Evan Stone, Tommy Gunn and, occasionally, Manuel Ferrara.

Kayden seems to be content under contract to Digital Playground, doing HQ Features ("The Boss' Daughter", and her best yet, "Body Heat"), that gives her a regular paycheck. Something many porn girls, suffering through the recession, wish they had. Also Kayden appears to have a very active & successful website (not owned by Digital Playground), where she does Live Shows and hardcore scenes with top male & female talent. It all seems to be working for her. And if the porn establishment can eliminate the politics, she should be nominated & win Best Actress for "Body Heat" at January's AVNs. Kayden answered the contract vs free agent question on her formspring several months ago: Q: Would you ever work free lance one day, or is it contract or nothing? A: The way the industry is right now, I prefer contract. I don't see it changing for the better anytime soon. Gotta love piracy and special interest groups with nothing better to do. She also said she gets health insurance with Digital Playground. The list of talent she works with is growing. She's worked with more than 20 guys now.
^^ I didn't know about the insurance thing. Adds another reason why in today's tough times contracts work best for performers from an economic POV. As for expanding her "list"--she's still (rightfully so) picky about who she works with. I put more importance on "chemistry" than numbers.
How many scenes has she done where she gets a facial? The only one i have seen is in Stalker.

I believe she is a college student taking a pretty full course load. I suspect that being under contract affords here a decent income while leaving her time to hit the books. After all I doubt she is doing 5 or 6 scenes a week, as she might have to if she was a free agent, so to speak. God! All that beauty and sexiness along with brains; the complete package.

The contract also gives her the time to concentrate on her website, which is actually one of the better ones. She interacts with her members on an almost daily basis on her site and does regular live sex cams.
I haven't seen many, but the strange thing is that, in the ones I have seen, she takes them enthusiastically and without visible hesitation or reservation. The quality is there, if not the quantity.
