| BEERFISH Member 177 Posts 8/04 | Last night while typing out a post I went to hit "backspace" to correct a typo and hit the "forward slash" key on accident, it then flew off the keyboard and hit the wall behind me. I can't understand how this happened since I never type very hard and have treated my laptop with kid gloves since the day I bought it 3 yrs. ago. After close examination with a flashlight the key is fully intact and I can see how it's supposed to connect to the board, but can't for the life in me figure out how to put it back on. So I guess my question is has anyone dealt with this before, or know a site I can check out for a quick fix? I own a Dell Latitude if that makes any difference. Any help or advise on this will be greatly appreciated. [Link] |
