Here are two suggestion of what you can search by.

1-Performer name: If you have specific performers that interest you then looking for their videos should be the most important thing to look for.

2- Sexual fetish: This one will likely require hours of search because unless it is something very unusual then you will have hundreds if not thousands of possibilities.

I found the ticket-based system to be confusing and intimidating at first as well. But it's really a lot like a standard subscription in some senses. You choose a membership and depending on what you buy and pay, and if you opt to have that recur each month, you get X tickets and can then 'spend' them as you choose.

Here's a screen grab of the most common packages they offer. I put these in USD assuming that's where you're located:

Once you have you tickets I think you can spend them anywhere. I had a recurring ticket subscription for close to five years and I never encountered any limitations. Everything on the site had a ticket price and if you had that in your account you could buy and download it.

Archived content is a bit different in that some of it gets migrated to the 'free' side of LP. As you remain a member and buy tickets you are also given 'free' tickets that can be used on select videos. My problem with this is that it seemed most of the videos you could get for free were quite old, and I had already bought them with paid tickets when they were newer. But I've just checked and it seems the free scenes may be a lot better now - meaning that they are newer.

There are options to subscribe to a studio but I'd use some caution. I've never done that before but I understand that there are two options. You can get a monthly subscription but as I understand it, that ONLY gives you access to the scenes that studio has or will upload that month. You can buy a studio's full catalogue too but that's quite expensive. Though depending on what you're looking for that might be a better value for you. I think (but I am not certain) that if you subscribe to a studio and pay for their full catalogue you get access to everything. But keep in mind that some of those scenes would likely have been moved to the free side of the site by now, but you're paying for them as part of your subscription.

I'm with you that confusion likely keeps people away. I had been looking at LP's site for a couple of years before I decided to join. I was a very knowledgeable porn buyer so I can imagine how someone with less experience would feel. Back when I first joined there was the additional step of them confirming your credit card even before you could buy tickets. That's no longer done.

I stopped my recurring account at LP because I found the scenes were getting repetitive. As a new subscriber that won't be as big an issue for you. I also found that I had to be careful because if my membership gave me 50 tickets in a month I might want scenes that cost a total of 80 tickets so LP became an expensive membership for me. I'd often spend more on LP in a month than I would on other subscriptions combined.

One of the reasons I'll likely not sign up for recurring tickets is that LP has put their prices waaaaay up. Back when I had monthly tickets it was unusual for a scene to cost more than six tickets. Most were less than that. The average was around four tickets. But now it isn't entirely unusual to see a scene that costs over ten tickets. I'd guess the average cost is probably in the six or seven range. When you calculate the cost of each ticket it's apparent that LP is very expensive. I get that a 10 woman, 10 man gangbang is expensive, and DAP and peeing is more expensive to shoot, but these price increases really defy logic.

But. if you've never been a member there it could still have a lot of value for you because LP really has no direct competition.

I've always been keen on just how much archive content there actually was or if it was a mere pittance. Also, the free tickets you're given as you remain a member and purchase tickets, those free ones, are they usable on any scene across the site or only on Archive content. In other words, do you also have to purchase them, albeit with the "free" tickets? If it's the latter I'm even further disinclined towards joining up. I was hoping that there was a robust Archive content that upon joining one would have access to, freely available with your membership.

So if one did this you'd get the scenes slated for that month plus access to that studio's back-catalog? Not too bad I suppose, but if it were just the scene slated for that month, that'd be a no-go. I wonder with buying the catalog if that's only what's currently released or everything plus what's going to be released too?

In the final analysis that's going to likely keep me away for now, but it's as I surmised when I was gauging their byzantine pricing systems - in other words no real surprise. I have an inkling it's set up the way it is to help obfuscate that price to a degree. Bravo to their talent and their performances and here's to their continued success! Until very recently, yesterday in fact when you asked these questions and caused me to go back to LP to make sure the answers I was giving were as accurate as I could make them, I hadn't spent much time in the archived content. The time that I had spent there indicated that most of what was available was really old and not that great. Though there were certainly some gems in there. That seems to have changed though. LP seems to move scenes into the archived "free" side of the site after they reach a certain age and it seems that more and more newer scenes are finally showing up there. When I searched yesterday they have scenes available with stars who are still active. That wasn't the case a few years ago when the scenes in the archive seemed quite old. It may be, and this is pure speculation, that the 'best before" date in the past was five years or more and now scenes are moved from the pay side to the "free" side in a year or so.

Your question about whether the archived scenes need to be "purchased" with the earned tickets can be answered in the affirmative. As you buy tickets (to be used on the new scenes) you earn free tickets too. I'll be honest and say that I've never paid much attention to that so I don't know how many free tickets you earn with purchases. Someone else may be able to weigh in on that or a bit of digging on the site may dig something up. As with so much else at LP, it's confusing.

The free tickets can only be used to buy videos on the free side of the house. They aren't like coupons that can be used anywhere. But, keep in mind that the free side of the house seems to have improved quite a bit too. But to answer your question directly, yes, the business model is the same on the free side of the house. You earn tickets and you can spend them on that side.

Unfortunately, your hope that a subscriber gets unlimited access to the archive isn't the case. I wish it was.

Monthly subscriptions (in the more common sense) are available but I've never tried that. My information is mostly gleaned from this thread. My understanding is that if you get a monthly subscription it ONLY gives you the stuff from that specific month. If you join in December and see a scene you want that was uploaded in November then you're out of luck. Further, LP is made up of several independent studios so you are only subscribing to one studio. So if you buy a monthly membership to Giorgio Grandi and you see something from Gonzo that month that you want, well, you're out of luck again.

I never even considered subscriptions because I recall that they were too limited for the cost. But. par for the course, after a quick search of LP just now I can't figure out if they are even still offering this and if they are what does it cost and how do you join. Confusing once again.

(As an aside, they do also offer other bundles. I saw that I could buy all of Charlotte Sartre's scenes as a bundle but I recall it was about $600. Also, if you're so inclined, you can buy everything from a studio too. Giorgio Grandi is a great studio and you can get EVERYTHING for the low price of about $6000. And no, that isn't a typo. $6000. Check your couch cushions.

To LPs credit, they have some unique porn. That's a big part of their draw and a big part of their success even with an unusual and confusing business model. I can understand your reluctance to join. I contemplated it for about two whole years before I took the plunge.

It may be worth your while to buy some tickets on a one-time basis and dip your toe in. It's a bit more expensive than other sites but it's relatively low risk. But. I caution you that another quirk of LP and it's business model is that it's like an addictive drug. I'm surprised they don't offer potential subscribers a few scenes for free just like a drug dealer might with a new customer. Get 'em hooked and they'll keep coming back!

I still have free tickets so I'm glad that when they changed how the 'free' scene work I was grandfathered in. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they've expanded the free scenes to include some really good and relatively new ones. I have over 500 'free' tickets so I've been using those up.

I also recall reading that this was a North America-wide rule but I'm in Canada and using a Canadian IP address but I get access to all the wet scenes I want. But, if I was so inclined I could still download the edited versions. Not that I'm clear why I'd want to do that...

Old ( and probably also new ) DDF scenes get now labelled as Pornworld ( sub-studio ) but their serial numbers still use " GP " ... because some time ago the sub-studio was called Glam Porn .

Newly found dilemma : I was already accustomed to write GP , and now there doesn´t seem to exist a standard abbreviation for Porn World in their forums .
So I´ll try out PrW or PrnW mybe , bcuz PW gives probably mixed reactions . (:
