^ What's worse is that it's also boring and repetitive. I used to have a recurring ticket membership up until maybe five years ago. Back then, I had to think long and hard about what videos to download because there was an abundance of videos I wanted to see. In many cases, I ended up buying more tickets just to get the scenes I wanted each month. Not only was there variety in the sex, but there was variety in the models.
About five years ago I was finding that the problem had flipped and that I wasn't using my monthly allotment of tickets so I dropped the recurring membership and would buy tickets when there was a scene I wanted to see.
I always liked the Giorgio Grandi Christmas scenes and looked forward to those each year, but those are gone now too.
The other big reason I no longer buy much from them is the cost. The cost per scene skyrocketed a few years ago. Back when I was getting tickets every month it was rare for a scene to cost more than 10 tickets. These days, only the most tame licenced scene is over 10 tickets. The value is gone.
I have 20 tickets in my account from when I bought a package so I could get the last GG Christmas scene. I think that was 2023. Those tickets have been sitting there since then. I have so little interest in what they offer now.
Has anyone noticed that Giorgio Grandi's scenes all look a bit different than anything else on any other site? I haven't figured it out yet. All I know is I can immediately tell that rhe proportions are slightly off. The girls look like they were vertically stretched. That happens when you take a 16:9 video and turn it into 4:3 without cutting anything out. This isn't the case here, but maybe they use a 17:9 cam and then render as 16:9? Most people won't even notice but I see it immediately in TikToks, pictures etc when the proportions are messed up.
So is it the camera lens? The aspect ratio? The editing process? All I know is something feels off.
No, it's not 4:3 stretched into 16:9 or vice versa, but true 4K stretched into 2160p 2160p (and 1080p and so on) have a 16x9 ratio (1.78:1).
But true 4K cameras have 4096x2160, which is a ratio of 1.89:1
If you have true 4K cameras, you need to crop the image on the sides (and not stretch it) to make 16x9... Or deliver an image with (tiny) black bars above and below, just like in the olden days with letterbox movies on 4x3 TV sets.
I know it's not 4:3 stretched into 16:9. That would be way more visible. So Giorgio just isnt aware that you need to crop stuff out? They just don't notice that it looks weird to stretch (or in this case the opposite) and nobody has ever told them?
Oh and do you know that this is what they are doing or are you guessing?
I was on the site and saw that I could sign up for a month of streaming access to Toby Dick Studio for $55 CAD, so I did. That got me NOTHING!! Well, it apparently gives the ability to now pay $2500 CAD to get the whole library. There's $55 gone.
Don't bother saying I should contact support, because LP/AV doesn't have support.

I haven't had any problems with the "All Access" subscriptions to studios on Pornbox. Idk about the case when download is disabled, but in the past when I've subbed to PornWorld, I've been able to download all the videos no problem.

if you subscribe to a studio within pornbox (it could be one of their own studios like Giorgio or some other studio like Bangbros which sells its scenes through pornbox), then as far as I've seen, you get access to the studio's entire catalog.
I've posted a question to the support page before and never got a reply, but surprisingly, they did reply to this one. Maybe it was my pissed-off tone.
The answer I got was that I do have access to the scenes that are marked as "FA," for Full Access. So, yes, I do get some access to stream scenes. I'll live with that, but I'm still not happy because when I looked up the information prior to signing up, there was nothing that even hinted that access was limited only to some scenes. My recollection is that the information indicated full streaming access and allowed two downloads per month.
Knowing this, I went to the studio page and sorted for the scenes that I have access to and it shows I have access to 223 of the 506 scenes on the studio page. I'll have to live with that because there is nothing I can do to change it (apart from giving them another $2500 CAD) to get full access and downloads.
I agree that this is unusual given past experience. I've subscribed to several studios at LP/AV before (Bang Bros, NRX, and a few others) and those have all given me full streaming access.
It is what it is, so if anyone can learn from my experience, that's some value.
^ Yes, and there is an even easier way to sort too. There is a pull-down menu for "owned" scenes, and by selecting that, only the scenes available to me show up. That has the added advantage of not being able to see what I'm missing.

While I do agree with the arguements against it, but man those orgies were definitely something .Idk 3 feels like the lower end of that and 4-5 female performers would have been the best imo.
Thanks for posting those links. I hadn't been paying attention and just assumed there was no orgy this year. I'm surprised that it's "only" 13.51 tickets. I expected it to be closer to 20.
As for the complaints about not seeing all the action with a larger cast, that adds to the scene for me. I like how you when the camera is focused on one bit of the action you can see other things going on at the periphery. The reason that appeals to me is a bit strange. I like the idea that these models continue fucking even if the camera isn't on them. Yes, the camera could turn to them at any second but in a way, because they continue, it's like fucking because it's fucking.
Giorgio Grandi´s studio seems to continue under another director.
While I hate the emphasis on piss/fist/prolapse/puke and similar stuff, there are some watchable scenes sometimes: DAPs with Indy Lix, Areta Ridera and Kitty Li
In some of the scenes the gals will take a double-blowjob during DAP/DP (often the highlight of the scene), continuing the old tradition from Sineplex and Gonzo.
The original Giogio with DAP and anal creampie eating were outstanding. Now its all piss and choke which I HATE and hate.
