Just last night I was reminded of why I haven't bought anything on LP in a year and a half...their streaming quality fuckin' sucks. Whether it was 1080p, HD or VGA, when I attempted to watch a couple of my old purchased videos last night, I had picture freezes with all of them.

No offense but if your benchmark for a great LP site is another video starring the three below women then God help them because that is a losing model. I think that regardless of what fans may say. I doubt most of them are wasting their expensive tickets on another video starring any of these women. I propose LP have as many new girls as all the other big sites. It is simply that by releasing so many scenes (two or three brand new scenes per day) it is easy to lose those new models in amongst the returning ones.
i know I'm a bit late to this conversation, but I was a regular customer of LP for several years until about a year ago. My reason for leaving was mostly cost as I was trying to reduce my monthly porn budget a bit. I'm a big fan of a lot of their stuff and I think they're unique in what they offer so what they have can't be considered 'commodity' porn as with many other sites that are largely interchangeable. If money was no object then I'd probably still be downloading a lot of LP stuff every month.
But... money is an issue here and regardless of the fact that LP offers some unique porn it is still possible to price themselves out of the market and by doubling some of their prices I think they may have crossed that line. It could be a vicious cycle for them as they try to increase profitability per scene by raising the prices but then see a decline in the number of people who purchase it.
I have no idea what the solution is, but I can't afford LP these days and the changes only make that worse.
^ For me.....that's the fairest assessment about where we're at. Not a huge LP fan myself but like some of their output and have joined the site for a couple of months. By far the biggest issue for me is the price, relative to the competition. If the price was similar to joining Evil Angel I'd be straight in there but they just seem to be pricing themselves out of existence.
There is no denying that LP is the only studio offering extreme penetration porn on a daily basis. It was less so in the beginning when they offered a bigger mix of content but they realised that there was one type that sold more than any other and they wisely chose that one. The problem is that particular fetish is by far the most expensive one to shoot so by extension their cost increased.
The simplest way for them to save money is to cut down on the number of updates. Some of their fans are sure to complain but I argue that since LP offers content that no one else does then their fans will have nowhere else to go and therefore most of them will stick with LP. I also argue that bringing the same performers to do another DAP/TAP when they have all done it dozens of time is a sure path to destruction because no one is going to pay to see that.
Case in point May Thai. Was their a clamoring for another appearance by a performer who already has 36 videos at LP? The only thing she can bring to the table is that she is a couple of years older than when she did her first video.

Of course, being Asian could also be a limiting factor to her appeal. While I love Asians, I realize they don't appeal to everyone.
You're correct there was nothing 'new' in acts performed in her recent scene (other than appearing with another beautiful LP model, Nicole Black, for the first time); however, the fan base for each girl is clearly large enough to support the demand for new scenes. Add the fact there hasn't been a new scene from May in over 7 months and you have a hit. She has 38 scenes for a reason: because she's a reliable, bankable star. If not, they wouldn't keep bringing her back. Me, I don't care she's doing the same acts. I just love seeing her on screen.
She has done more scenes outside of LP than within it although they don't get noticed unless you are a hardcore follower of hers. She also is not full time in porn and has no ambition to make porn a long term career (she could of course change her mind). She does some LP scenes, and books a few others, then goes back to student life until the next break.
LP Pays very well for the type of scenes they do. It's no surprise she has made that the central part of her part time porn career.
She doesn't get a lot of work because she is not available for work.
Whats the point? She uses most of the same idiots from gonzo (angelo, yanick etc..) in her EvilAngel scenes anyway.
Which is why. I don't bother with any of her releases.

FWIW, Veronica Avluv's recent tweets about LP have been accusatory and she claims she was raped on her last shoot.
I've never seen any women abused in an LP video but I can understand why some people might think that it's a kind of abuse when you consider that the type of porn LP produces is so extreme that many of the women look and sometime sound in pain. I don't think they are faking but I also can't call it abuse because these women agreed to everything that is happening.
