In my copy the girls are in black and white while everything (I think) else is in color. Is this the way this title is supposed to be? Please assist. I need to know. Thanks!

All through the movie?
Not on my copy. Andrea Spinks comes through in all her lovely tannedness.

I re-watched it recently. I'd say it looks like a colorized version of a black and white film. I don't like it. Colors are important to me. Artsy-fartsy filming styles aren't my cup of tea. Belladonna and Jonni Darko have yet to be equaled, let alone topped! In terms of "tannedness", don't you mean that oriental girl Lily Thai (not sure about the name)?

I can't quite figure out what the problem could be. It looks fine on my system.

They had some items in very strong primary colours on some of the sets. Same thing with the toys.
In comparison, the skin colours might look relatively subdued. But they are there, and come out just as clear as in 90% of other recent movies.
The various scenes are very differently lit. In the brightest scenes, the camera can't always quite handle the strong sunlight. But again it mostly looks just as good as other similar movies.

I just checked it on my PC, and it looks the same. No problems there.

Technical details are important to me too, and artsy porn (or fartsy mainstream movies for that matter) is in now way my cup of tea.
But when comparing Les Perversions #1 to just about any other gonzo movie from comparable studios, it looks fine.
Nothing artsy about it either.

Looking at the front cover photo, it does display the effect you mentioned. But the movie doesn't.

Could your DVD be a different pressing?
My version is a 2 DVD set.
Some of the text on the hub of the DVD containing the main feature reads: "2110-0032 F1 DVD"

BTW, I was referring to Andrea Spinks' nice all over tan. Not that Lily Thai isn't a right little hottie too.

It is possible that we differ on the definition of a "nice tan". Or is it that you like it that Andrea's tan has no "tan lines". Is that what you mean when you say "nice"? 'cause I'd say Lily has a much nicer tan than Andrea IMHO (and it's "all over" too).;)

Oh, I luurve tan lines.
But perhaps it's just that everything about Andrea is nice . Her tan then becomes nice too by default.
Lily too for that matter. But is Lily's colour technically a tan?

Actually, Andrea was in the first scene, and it was the main reason I got the DVD. Hence her colour being the first one on my mind.

Anyway, as I said, my DVD exhibits none of those artsy colour effects you mentioned.
