Elkehr - Just a clarification of your question: are you looking for DVDs that are girl-girl action or DVDs that have lesbian themes and would appeal to lesbians? The difference may not be obvious at first. Most porn that is classified "lesbian" is of the lipstick lesbian variety which is all-girl action intended to please men. I know there are a few titles available on VHS that have lesbian themes and are for lesbians, not men. Unfortunately, these titles are not available on DVD yet. If you're looking for the lipstick lesbian stuff I have always been partial to Vivid's Where the Boys Arent't series.
Drew makes a good point: there is a huge difference between lesbian porn (i.e. made by dykes for dykes) and lipstick lesbian porn (made for guys who fantasize about women getting it on). Most real lesbians do not like lipstick lesbian videos because they cater to male tastes and don't accurately reflect lesbian relationships or lesbian sex acts. The most obvious thing is that you'll never see a butch or dom lesbian in lipstick movies, only pretty feminine girls. While there are a lot of specialty videos on the market that cater to real life lesbians, the series that has had the most success both in the mainstream and gay markets is San Francisco Lesbians. Not yet out on DVD though. elkehr: It definitely sounds like you are looking for the lipstick variety. In fact, you fit one of the target demographics for this type of porn: you don't want to see men, only women (there is a whole other topic of conversation as to why this is the case). Given that, most of Vivid's lesbian stuff will probably work, including Drew's recommendation of the Where the Boys Aren't series (one of the pioneering lipstick lines in the 80's). I'd also give a nod to Vivid Raw's Femme series. Unfortunately, a lot of the good stuff that I like in the lipstick genre only available on VHS. Nothing other than the standard "blonde bimbo" fair seems to have arrived on DVD yet. No kissing, no power play, nothing lasts long enough to be real, just half a dozen women with large breasts and masses of blonde hair. I understand that "Where the boys aren't 6" contains a hint domination, which is a start, any comments? The best I've seen as yet would be "Blonde Justice", it's 80% girl-girl, includes a seduction and even some kissing. Being set in a strip club it's not too unreasonable that all the girls look like strippers. Presumably the female police officer also treaded the boards before joining the force. Very interesting flashback here of a time just before lesbian porn began to really take off with much better production and realism and new studios like Girlfriends Films Abby Winters were about to appear and truly great amateur studios that were shortlived unfortunately, you can see the comments here hinting at looking for something better, away from the standard lesbian porn available at the time, a truly realistic attempt at a lesbian porn scene was extremely rare in the 90's, everything was high heel shoes and big hair and no kissing dildos everytime music dubbed over literally every scene, dvd's were just beginning to appear replacing the horrible poor picture quality of VHS, everything was in it's infancy literally at this time, 1999 was also the first year I went online with an E Machine PC with about an 800 mb harddrive, impressed with how far adultdvdtalk goes back, I'm just learning this!

I take it you mean it's getting worse LOL! I've found over the last two decades lesbian porn goes through phases, some years are better than others, my favorite era's were 03-05 roughly, then 13-15 or 16, the latter was when European lesbian porn finally ditched the dildos for the most part, the Americans were 10 years ahead, with the exception of Viv Thomas who never employed dildos in lesbian scenes except only on rare occasions, lesbian porn always adopts some cliche or fad like back in the 90's it was dildos, big hair, and high heels worn all the time, now it's the constant fake over the top screaming, the screaming has got to go, it's primarily an American phenomenon, I look for and seek out videos that are quiet, but anyway back to the question of DVD's, it's really a dinosaur medium now, the age of the DVD is waning, I don't mean to disparage the namesake of this forum, I have thousands of DVD's I've ripped to hard drive and never touch them again, maybe it's time to rename this forum Adult4KTalk! Just kidding I'm sure DVD's will be around for another decade at least, and often I find today's 16:9 DVD's have sub standard image quality, I mean it's literally like we've gone back to VHS! The blurays are too expensive and cumbersome, you see "shot in HD" on the box is totally BS, it's not displayed in HD! Somebody used a $30'000 camera to shoot the scene that's displayed on a fucking standard DVD, you might as well have used a WalMart camera!

^It's becoming very gimmicky. Not just the yelling, but also big dildos, peeing, poking the vulva with toes, and "scissoring" in rote checklist fashion.
As for watching on DVD, no real reason for that these days.
