I think that it's rare in general and doubly rare among women willing to get down on camera. I have one girl's first ever lesbian experience on there, which is cool because she came to me, she wanted to do it with me specifically, it wasn't just "I'm having my first lesbian experience on camera because I don't really like chicks but I do like money". I don't care about identity politics, I just care that whoever I'm working with wants to be there and is willing to connect with me. I don't consider myself queer, and I'm absolutely not about judging my scene partners on whether on not they have enough street cred or whatever. Down to fuck? Then let's fuck. It's really just that. I have junked scenes I've shot for my site before, where the other girl was just not there, going through the motions, being fake fake fake...but I'll keep the scene if she starts off doing her routine and I manage to get through to her and get her to be real with me because I love seeing that moment where the wall breaks "Oh my god, what did you do to me?" I love that shit. I banged a lot of "straight" girls before porn, and I've had good sex with straight women and awful sex with lesbians (and, of course, vice versa as well...not knocking lesbians in general, just pointing out that sexual identity does not equal good at sex, good with people, or much of anything), so I don't think what you call yourself matters. I also don't so much care if my scene partners like girls as I care if they like me. Walls up gay for pay girl who doesn't want to fuck, doesn't want to take it, doing everything she can to bullshit her way through the scene? I hate that, and it kind of offends me both as a lesbian and as a professional. But one of my favorite scene partners doesn't fuck women off camera (except, well, me a couple times). I have kind of a masculine energy...the girls that I have the best connections with aren't always the gayest ones, although I've done really good scenes with performers from the queer side of things too. Dylan Ryan is one of my all time faves. When I first got into porn, I was told by some people that I looked "too gay" for girl/girl porn, and I did have one incident where a performer got mad at me for being "too into it". (Which I wasn't...she clearly didn't want to be there and I was pouring out my energy and getting nothing back, so I doubled down with the intensity to try to make the scene happen. I tried every trick in my arsenal to get her to be present, and she just wasn't having it. She just made the same noise at intervals, and attempts to communicate in scene led to her dropping the act and talking shop. "Do you like this baby?" "what? oh, yeah, that is ok...how much longer?" I felt like a molester, she was irritated at me, and it just did not work. Total mismatch of performance styles. This girl's agent also told me that I had to be a good performer because I wasn't hot...she said this in conversation, like it was a totally cool thing to say. Yeah, that was the best shoot ever.)
