I heard that the fine folks at the Empire have a Netflix-like service for rentals. Has anyone used them?

As much as I like ADE, LongviewDVD is definitely not ready for prime time. They are slooooooooooooow to ship things out (think Walmart.com rental service but slooooooower, i.e., not good). 1 week to ship a disc is just not acceptable. Until they work the kinks out of the system, I'd try Xrent, Flicksmart, BushDVD, or Exchangesexvideo instead.

WantedList and SugarDVD are two others.

I've used those two, plus Flicksmart in the past...no complaints to be had. I just signed up for BushDVD over the weekend and they promptly shipped the rentals right away Monday morning---they arrived the next day as BushDVD is located in the same city (San Diego) as me. (I've also added around 50 titles to my queue...I should be able to see all of these by, oh, Halloween.)
