It's an R18 lesbian DVD entitled "Teenage Seduction" apparently also released under the title "Hot Babe Seduction". Lezlovevideo.com in the US carry it, but their shipping costs to the UK are crazy!
There must be a way of getting this DVD in the UK or other parts of Europe, but where from?
They have got it at the online shop at www.vivthomas.com. You'll need to go through a free registration to view it. I am not sure you'll fancy their DVD prices though... I have a leaflet to hand from them, with a telephone order number - might be easier to phone and check. I won't post the phone number here - email me if you want it, Joey.

Thanks a lot Gabriel.
Actually I had tried at home already but their shop listing did not show up on my Mac.
After reading your post, I retried again on a PC at work and ordered it online. Price is not that bad, I've seen worse and there's free UK shipping....
Will report about Viv Thomas service when I receive the DVD.

Just after placing my order online, I received an automated E-Mail acknowledging it and stating I would receive my DVD within 28 days.
A few days later, I got an invoice in the mail, stating that I would get the DVD within 28 days and that "the DVD would be sent from Holland" (this makes sense as I think it's illegal to sell DVDs by mail order within the UK).
Will tell you when I get the disc, hopefully soon...
It's crazy but true - you can legally send a UK-made R18 disc from outside the UK back into its country of origin, but it's illegal to sell it mail order within this country, even though you can buy it legally, in person, from a licensed sex shop. Does that make any sense?
Viv Thomas changed his shipping process a while back, because he obviously wanted to stay on the right side of the law, but of course there are others who ship porn inside the UK, law or no law.

Yes I mentioned this in my first post in this thread. Unfortunately their shipping rate to the UK is around $30, a bit high to order a single DVD not to mention it risks attracting a heavy customs duty
Joey, if anything goes wrong with your mail order, I have seen this as 'Hot Babe Seduction' in Soho Original Bookshop for £16 (if part of a 3 for £50). Stock levels sometime seem a bit variable there so I would ring first.
If this is where there are two shops at street level with one large adult shop in the basement then I have seen a few Viv Thomas R18 DVDs here.
I don't recall the one in the thread, but they had some Sandy & Sammi-Jane titles as well as some of the teen and leg/foot fetish ones. Think they were £20, or less as part of a multibuy deal like the one mentioned above.
Deau Chevaux is right as to the location and there are two shops.
Once you get to Brewer Street wander along to the Compton Street end of the road and you can't miss them, with green frontages. The two shops are almost opposite each other. One is right on the corner and smaller and gets very crowded. The best bet for a start is the other one and if you can't find what you want, go to the other.
If you have got a definite title in mind you need to be careful because stock on some titles is quite variable from one visit to another. Sadly, Viv Thomas is one that they only stock one or two of the titles for and, even then, for those, availability is abit hit and miss. It is not helped because the cases are thrown on the shelves in no particular order. Even if you have got time to browse you could still miss what your'e looking for, so its always worth checking at the counter before giving up.
There are other stores on Brewer Street but Soho Original is generally most keenly priced.
I see your other Viv Thomas thread and will post some infor there also.

Thanks for all the info!
Checked them out, they had three VIV THOMAS DVDs in stock but none of interest for me. However they were going to receive a new shipment, I'll call them up later.
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff by the way...

Thanks a million ziniaraya
I went to Soho Original Bookshop and bought three Viv Thomas DVDs for £50. They had received a package recently but already sold out of the hotest new releases. I will be back

I've started watching "Young lesbian love" and it's excellent. Mind you it looks like top notch softcore some of the time, with a lot of kissing/caressing and no sex toys (candles are used for penetration in one scene) but the girls are GORGEOUS and there are licking/fingering/pussy close-ups. This one is highly recommended, probably the best lesbian DVD I've seen so far.
You've got a short description and photos on the lezlovevideo.com website (look under Viv Thomas).
Got two other titles and will report when I've seen them.
Joey
PS : Don't confuse "Young lesbian love" with "Young lesbian lust", another Viv Thomas title on DVD.
This is a persuasive recommendation and I shall follow it up. Another VT, Pink Velvet, has appeared on the LezLov site so I shall keep an eye out for it for it also.

Got word from their customer service by E-mail, apparently DVD was sent but "not reclaimed". This is strange as I didn't get any notice, maybe yet another Royal Mail mixup?
Anyway they say they are sending the DVD again.
Joey
PS : Thanks to Gabriel for his help, in the end I did not have to call them but I'll keep the phone number handy just in case...

I had confirmed my postal address by E-mail, but when I contacted them three weeks later, they still hadn't resent the DVD...
As I'm leaving on holiday soon, I asked them for a refund. I received a note this morning stating they had refunded my credit card.
Actually looking back the fault was more with the local post office than with them. I just experienced a similar problem ordering a mainstream DVD pack from Play247.com, the nice thing about Play247 is you can track your order on their website so that's what I did. Again the postie allegedly tried to deliver and #1 didn't ring (I was home at delivery time) and #2 did not leave a delivery notice. This is how I lost the Viv Thomas DVD which was sent back to Holland.
I'd reorder from Viv Thomas in future if I get the chance, although with a good source in Soho I don't need to, but if I ever move outside London, I'll order from them no problem, their customer service is not perfect but they came through in the end
Is that really true?? I've not heard that it's definitely legal for UK buyers to get R18s from overseas, via mail order. But I've not studied the law carefully.
I would imagine the law on R18s is so-designed to reduce the chances of under-18s buying the discs. Most sex shop staff are quite strict on keeping kids out of the shops, so I guess the government feels its safer to restrict things to "in person" sales. Sell mail order, and you can't really be sure how old the buyer is.
I can't say 100%, and that's after attempting to understand the Video Recordings Act! All I know is that Viv Thomas & co had tested out this method of supplying their videos after problems due to being unable to sell them legally mail-order within the UK.
But consider this - the R18 version of certain movies is the same disc sold by EroDVD in Holland. What regulatory powers do UK authorities have over the Dutch vendors? If import of uncertificated foreign porn is accepted, which we're perhaps in some doubt about, it makes little sense to forbid movies which are legal in the UK.
My understanding is that the Video Recordings Act makes it an offence to supply R18 videos from anywhere other than a licensed sex shop. But that's in the UK, they have no authority in Europe! Also, any offence is commited by the supplier not the customer. There's a simplified analysis of the VRA at the Video Standards Council's website which states "The offences established by the 1984 Act relate to the illegal supply of video recordings of video works". (My bold)
You're right about the government's concept, which is also the case in Germany. But let's face it, it's a flawed idea. We all know kids see all kinds of movies meant for adults - the restriction on mail order trade is nonsense and has just made the Sullivan monopoly worse (though credit to them for repeatedly taking the government and councils to court).
That's a good point Gabriel: it's the seller not the buyer who is the target of these laws. I had thought that it was illegal to buy or even possess any video that didn't have a BBFC classification. But then I realised that would be ridiculous, as people buy mainstream titles from other countries and that's OK (I assume!). I mean, if an American decided to emigrate to England, would they be forced to leave behind all their videos just because they don't have BBFC marks.
Obviously if someone starting up a shop or stall in this country, openly selling US videos for example, then that would be illegal. So it's the selling not the buying.
But, as discussed in previous threads, with regards to porn titles then I'm not entirely convinced that it really is OK (in theory or practice) to buy via mail order from abroad. But as you say, if anything acceptable to BBFC guidelines can be imported, then that by definition includes all R18 titles. So the idea of banning UK mail order of R18s is pretty useless, if that really is the case!
Not that I'm one to talk about sticking to the law - I import plenty of titles from Lasers Edge and EroDVD
Hello, On the subject of ordering from Viv Thomas, I ordered a couple of DVD's from them in the beginning of June, and received the invoices shortly afterwards, but 3 weeks later still no films. I emailed their customer services and was told to get in touch with my local post depot, which was a total waste of time, so it looks like I'm £50 down. Checking a few other forums about this sort of thing, I've been told that there is a 90% chance that the films have been stolen by someone in the post service. Since they are just sent out 1st class, not recorded delivery, there is no way of finding out what happened to them. I refuse to believe 2 packages could just disappear in a matter of days! There's something dodgy going on somewhere. I wonder if there is anything on the shipping label that says Viv Thomas, thus marking it out for potential light fingered people to pocket it?
Sorry I can't answer your final question, but I am very sorry to hear of your problem. Combined with Joey's problem, this doesn't look too good for Viv Thomas in terms of customer relations. Aren't they prepared to do any more to help? They really should not expect customers to take a loss or to solve the mystery of the missing packages themselves.
Don't know what your embarassment threshold is like, but I'd definitely ask the Royal Mail to at least look into what is going on. They may not be able to track an individual package, but they can investigate missing items, and may compensate, though in this case you may not wish to disclose exactly what is missing!
Sorry I can't help more, but do let us know how you get on.
Thanks for the reply. My embarrasment threshold is pretty low, so I'll get onto the Post Office again on Monday, though I don't expect to get anywhere. If a package is not sent by recorded or registered delivery the chances of me getting any compensation are pretty slim. In my e-mail correspondence with VivThomas.com, I've mentioned if in the future I order anything if they could send it out by recorded delivery. At least then, if something does happen, the package can be traced. Also, it's less likely to be nicked.
Well, some good news! Viv Thomas has said they will send out replacements free of charge and by recorded delivery. I'll post an update when I receive my DVD's but I'm certainly a lot happier than I was a few days ago :)
Well I received my replacements this morning free of charge, and by registered delivery :) All credit to Viv Thomas and his staff for sorting this out! Also, they are going to introduce the option of recorded delivery for future orders. All in all, a pretty satisfactory outcome :)
Thanks for keeping us posted, Moondog, and I am glad your order came through in the end. If this all improves Viv Thomas' service in future, then it's been worthwhile, though I am sure you wish everything had been fine first time.
There are currently 17 Viv Thomas titles available from www.xodvds.com at around 17-18 pounds each. I've bought from this place before, and they ship from Holland. Might be worth a look for those who can't get into Soho as easily as Joey!
Just to follow up, I ordered 2 Viv Thomas titles from XoDVDs late on Monday night. They were dispatched on Tuesday lunchtime from Netherlands, and arrived at my house this morning (Thursday).
Excellent service - I shall be using them yet again in the future! Highly recommended for UK buyers looking for titles not generally kept by the US stores.
Yep - the shipping charge is a flat rate, so for my order the total was just under 40 pounds. So that's less than 20 per disc, which is what the Soho shops generally charge (last time I was there).
Real shame XoDVDs don't stock more titles - I'm after Sandy's Holiday Fantasies II - is it even out on DVD yet?
Thanks to Joey for the original tip-off on this studio - they are fantastic films!! I got Sex Wives + Videotape (heaven for Mia Stone fans) and Young Lesbian Love (heaven for body-worshippers). Will definitely be buying more.

Speaking of Viv Thomas DVDs in London, you should check out the "Soho Original Bookshop" at 124 Middlesex Street, London E1 (opp. Liverpool St Station) it's got a much better selection and stock for Viv Thomas titles than both Brewer Street stores.
I've looked twice but I can't find any Viv Thomas DVD's at Erodvd ?! Where are they hidden ? I want to pick up SW&VT.
BUBBLEGUM BABES
Joey, I got Bubblegum Babes in Town quite a long time since. It is a reasonable buy for £16. It's 4 B/G scenes and one with Nadia on her own. Nadia was in Club a few years ago. Fox, February 1999, has a decent photoshoot from Sylvia's scene although there is a bit of dodgy acting from her in the dvd.
Just noticed that Viv Thomas isn't listed in the left-side selection of studios. But it does (currently) appear in the right-side list of new releases studios.
Also, are you sure you're using a recent link to EroDVD? They updated their site to use SSL but the old link may still work.
