I have/had a bit of hair that is growing on the bottom 1/3 of the shaft of little Dirk. For about the last 6 months, I had been getting irritated after having sex with my wife. For a few days afterwards, The hair follicles would be really sensitive. Being really sick of this, I grabbed the tweezers and went to town. I must have yanked out 100 pubes (wince). After a few days, I tried out the "new look" cock and it was really great. That problem is now gone. Should have done this years ago. It feels a lot better now.

Here's the question. I wasn't able to get the follicle out on some of the hairs (the hair would just break). Does anyone have suggestions on how to easily maintain the hairless shaft? I don't want to shave. The idea of stubble doesn't appeal to me at all. Has anyone waxed? how did that go.

Looking for suggestions.

I couldn't imagine waxing that area or plucking. I shave it often. It only takes a few minutes in the shower.

Yeah, but doesn't the stubble just suck ? Waxing a few times a year sounds more pemanent.

Stubble is kind of annoying, but that area is too sensitive to wax. If I shave it every couple of days, it's fine.

I also shave the lower shaft of my cock in the shower every few days. Applying powder in between keeps the itching down. I tend to do just a quick touch up every few days for a few weeks, and then once a month or so do a careful shave all around my penis and scrotum. I'll stay away from waxing, unless someone can suggest a tolerable method!

Could you use Nair? That would probably not hurt at all.

sugaring is the way to go, smooth for at least 3 to 4 weeks and not as painfull as you would think. Just remember to do small strips, don't try to do to much at once and keep the skin tight.

but here'e a link for ya

hope this helps

I can't offer any good advice on the subject, other than if you shave BE CAREFUL. Please. You dont need to get cut down there. It takes a long time to heal! And during the whole recouperation process, you cant get hard! It stretches and reopens the cut.
Maybe you should try ane electric razor, They work great on the face.

Just a few days ago, I went and almost completely shaved myself too. On a whim. And now, I'm wondering about how to soften the stubble so that it can grow back a little.

Any ways to "condition" the pubes? My gf complained about it being "prickly" (no pun intended, I assure you).

Okay, I think I can better explain my question now.

I shaved real close on all my genital area (on a whim) a couple of days ago; the stubble issue obviously slipped my mind, and I know that prickly pubes bothers my girl.

I need a way that will destroy the existing hairs from the follicle up, so that when the hairs grow back out again, they'll be "baby hairs" (ie. softer than stubble).

If I use a "depilatory cream" like Nair, will that do the trick? And is that the same or different from "hair inhibitors" like Ultra Hair Away (or whatever)? Comments or stories?

Waxing is out of the question; I'm a coward with very low pain threshold. Does sugaring hurt? Is that the same idea? I don't want to be sans hair forever, I want to (next time) more carefully choose where it grows (like, not on the balls or shaft).

Thanks muchly for your help!

The scoop on shaving vs. waxing;

When you shave the hair grows back thicker and darker and you of course risk razor burn and nicks.

Waxing is rather painful, though probably not as bad as your expecting. Becasue you are pulling out the root when you wax the hair grows back more slowley and over time more sparsley. (sp)

I believe "sugaring" is sugar wax? Basiclly the same thing, just not heated? I could be off on that one as britenco speaks in UKish.

Plucking also takes the root which gives you the above effect as well but is time consuming and of course a little painful too.

So it's basicly choose your poison, it's gonna be a little uncomfortable which ever way ya go.

I have two options for you to consider;

Jergens has a new lotion out that is supposed to slow the re-growth of hair. I have been using it and it really works, go invest in some. It's in the hand lotion aisle.

If you decide to try waxing, consider going into a salon. Many salon's offer bikini waxes for womyn, call and see if they will wax you.

If that's to embarrassing, ask your GF is she waxes and put her expertise to work.

Forget this stuff. I was going to remove all of the hair on my head. So I tried a little spot on my chest. Your supposed to let this stuff sit for 5 min. I let it sit for 5 the first time. 10 the second time, and 15 the third. Barely any hair came off.

Well, I went out and bought the Nair Bikini Wax Kit and tried it out. It says to try taking some off after 5 minutes, and if it doesn't come off easily, wait longer; it also tells you not to leave it on for more than 15 minutes.

Well, for the most part, it's painless -- except if you have the tiniest scratch or any existing little skin irritation at all! Then your prior wound really hates the stuff (which happened to me).

I took the stuff off in the shower, and unfortunately, it didn't dissolve the roots / follicles at all -- it had the same effect as a close shave, and that's it. And after two days, I have stubble again, still with thick hairs.

Did I do something wrong?

Sounds like you used Nair, not Nair Wax.

If you had waxed you would have had to apply a muslin strip and rip the hair out.

What you used was the creame right? It wasn't you, that CRAP! does not work worth a darn.

Sorry my friend, it just can't be as easy as applying lotion and wiping it off...

Dammit! I knew it was too good to be true! I guess I was just hoping it would work, after doing some reading on depilating creams and such. Oh well ... thanks!
