Some store offering Lowest Price Guarantee,
can it be trust ?

Here is some words from adultdvd2000.com :

"If you find a product at a lower price on another website... Simply order the product on our site, and in the "Comment" section of our order form, tell us what product you found cheaper, and where, and for what price. It's that simple! We will adjust your total manually when we see the order. "

Any idea or advice ? Please..

I saw their website.

It's funny..they list Evil Angel as a studio catergory search..but no titles? Odd.

Website looks legit.

Do this ookz

Call them at: 1-800 999-7995

Tell them about the dvd you want right..then..tell them over the phone, that you found another online adult store that has it cheaper..and that you rather buy it from adultdvd2000.com instead. Give them the details. The rep will tell you what to do next.

This is the only SIMPLEST way to find out how things go.

Unfortunately my friend..this is the first time I hear about this online adult store so I have no experiences with them. Also thanks!

I like browsing stores and looking around, especially when it's porn.

I think I remember two years ago..dvdexpress website they had a price gurantee system just like that. I remember writing down in the comment box, and they honored it. It took a while, but it showed up in the billing statement.

Anyways, I were you, I call, and if you like what you hear, you can even save the trouble and make your order over the phone if you have a card, etc, that is, if they accept orders over the phone.

AdultDVD2000 has been mentioned a few times here in the forum. Just do a search for 'adultdvd2000' and you'll find a few comments.

Thank you,

hmmmmmm,
so far only dvdadvantage.com satisfied me,
very good price, $30 for 1-7 DVDs, not a bad deal.

Ahem... Sorry to ask, but what do you mean when saying '$30 for 1-7 DVDs, not a bad deal.' ?
$30 is extremely much for international shipping. Especially if you only order in batches of about 4 or 5 DVDs to minimize the risk of your order being confiscated at customs a $30 flat is really quite unfair.
If you order 4 titles and pay $30 for int. shipping that's $7.50 per title.
So if you compare it to Fivestar's $2.95 + $2.95 per title, every title you order at DVDadvantage has to be $4 cheaper than elsewhere, and even then you still get the same price as with Fivestar.

I once wanted to try DVDadvantage as well, but besides the high shipping costs they told me on their webpage that I should send them a copied version of my ID and a creditcard-statement so they know they can trust me. Maybe I'm a bit sensitive concerning these things, and maybe there has been some cc-fraud somewhere in the world, but if somebody tells me to send him a credit-statement with my creditcard number through some insecure channel (snail-mail, email, etc.) because he's afraid I might cheat on him, then I don't want to spend my money there. Only my opinion though. If they'd change that policy and lower the shipping costs I might be happy to try them, though.

I have posted several warnings about this company. This company sells a lot of videos on eBay under the name Sexe2. Their auctions all have the same company logo and email. If you search on their feedback on eBay you will find hundreds of customers complaining of major fraud on the part of this company. They average 2-3 complaints per day on eBay.

In my case they eventually just picked out some cheap dvd's to send me instead of the Private videos I ordered. They did not contact me they just billed me for my order and sent me crap I did not want after a 3 month wait. Most customers describe 6-8 week delivery, wrong products, and illegal copies. I will add few quotes from eBay (notice the date range).

User: whpp (138) Date: Nov-17-00 10:55:41 PST Item: (private) Complaint: Its been 6 weeks since payment! No tapes, just excuses! Kick them off!

User: internetgold (69) Date: Nov-16-00 18:56:38 PST Item: (private) Neutral: Poor communications, empty promises, never shipped & a fight for a refund.

User: pebbls1961 (20) Date: Nov-16-00 12:47:20 PST Item: (private) Complaint: very slow-pd w/in 24 hrs- took 3 wks 'til they said it shipped-still not rec'd!

User: strubbage (1) Date: Nov-15-00 23:20:21 PST Item: (private) Complaint: Took my money and never sent item! Ignores E-mail. Be careful of these Cons!

User: mrnuke999@aol.com (24) Date: Nov-15-00 15:15:59 PST Item: (private) Complaint: 6 wks and no shippment. Won't respond to e-mails. I want my item or a refund.

I believe that the Ebay feedback is referring to Adult DVD 2000.

I can see how MCR would think that Clay might have been referring to his store. The topic starts out on Adult DVD 2000 but the two posts prior to Clay's are about DVD Advantage. It's easy to mis-read Clay's post to be about DVD Advantage. I didn't realize it when I first read it because I knew Clay had posted similar feedback in the past about Adult DVD 2000 (and maybe one other Ebay retailer.)

Let me make this clear :

$30 for 1-7 DVDs :)

Actually, they send me 8 DVDs for $30,
so 30 div 8 equals 3.75 per DVD, I think it's cheap!

And the bad news is I "never" could buy from FiveStarDVD.com, 'cause they could not send to Indonesia :(
Hmmm, that's bad. :(((

I think Laser's Edge.com is great too,
1-5 with DHL Express (with traacking) for only $22 to Indonesia, and 6-10 only $29, very nice shipping rate!.

And for your information,
dvdadvantage.com "do not" ship with box, just the disc,
maybe that's why they cuold sell those DVDs at low price.

Laser's Edge ship the box and cover together!!

Thank to Matt for telling me about Laser's Edge.

Hi ookz...

Well... like said above : everybody suggests to only order about 4 DVDs at once because of customs. I don't know about the custom in Indonesia, but in Germany and the UK they are quite restrictive.

I always thought DVDAdvantage would ship the box and the DVD in 2 different packages. I even think that's what they say on their website ?

Hi Spesedy, this is Michael from dvdadvantage. On international orders I never ship
the jewel cases, I only ship the DVD's by courier and the art covers by USPS
AIRMAIL. I find its always better to keep them seperate. Michael

Hi Michael,

thanks a lot for the clarification. I obviously misunderstood that paragraph on your website, since it's been a while I've read it.

I'd really be interested if you have any indication that this practice is increasing the security of the package. When I read you'd ship the covers seperately I wondered if customs were impressed by that when opening a package containing DVDs with explicit pictures and titles printed on it.

Greetings,

Spesedy
