What's up with the frankly fake names that are put onto junk emails: Arbitrators G. Theaters Spitting A. Alternation Foray Q. Counselled Hauler H. Swirled
I assume it's meant to get them past a spam filter or something. But it seems like it would doom them to not get opened. What's the purpose?

The name isn't the purpose, that is stated in the first line of the message that is meant to attract you so that you click on the link.
"Come in and see these slutty lesbian first-timers!" or some such ilk.
I've blocked so many email addresses and names and made so many customized filters in my Hotmail box that I hardly ever seem to get any mail - or wait, perhaps I just haven't got any frieds!
Amongst all the spam I get on my email account here on ADT, I recently got an email from someone who appeared to be a poster (it came by way of the ADT forum administrator address). That person thought I was a porn actress (or perhaps he thought I was Renee Pornero). He went on for 5 detailed paragraphs about what he wanted me to do just for him, and where I should send all the photos to.
I couln't figure out if this was real or not, so just deleted it.
