Seems like alot of male performers are 'juicing' more than ever these days.
When you look at their bodies they have size and definition that go beyond merely spending hours in the gym.
I would be interested in hearing from male performers on their opinions as to whether or not having a 'super jacked' body allows them to get paid more than another guy with a merely average body.
Also, do female performers prefer ultra-ripped guys in their scenes? Any cases of male performers being difficult to work with and 'roid rage suspected as the cause?

Ha ha. From what I've observed, not many like bodybuilder types in porn.
Personally, I like to see a decent looking fellow (or at least charismatic) doing the banging, makes it more believable.
Butt when you get these thick-looking, overly aggressive macho types? Fuck that for a game of soldiers. Ain't nobody want to see that shit.

I had my fun and that's all that matters.

I believe there are a number of American guys that are using. It's obvious with a few of them. But you don't have to look like a bodybuilder to be on the sauce. A lot of people use roids that you'd never now it by their physique. And I think a lot of people are using it for the libido benifits. I know that if I needed it, I'd be using testosterone over viagra any day.

I don't see that many buff bodies in porn, and don't know what possible advantage it would provide. Men are more impressed by super ripped dudes than women are, and performance-wise it probably doesn't have a positive effect, unless you think 'roid rage is a good thing. I think the OP is one of those people who sees one or two instances of what he's pointing out (maybe Lee Stone and Brian Pumper) and attributes it across the board to everybody. The guys I see range in body types from buff to normal to skinny to slovenly. There is no one type that dominates, although I'd prefer to see attractive, fit men with these pretty women.

I saw a scene recently from a movie called Head Games. Tina Tyler does a scene with two guys, one of whom looked very familiar but with a WAY different body than I have seen in other scenes. Not saying that he is on the roids but it's hard to go from that to where he is now. Not going to say his name, but you can figure it out if you care to look into it.

My guess would be Arnold Schwartzenpecker. I saw a film with him and it showed him doing a girl doggystyle. You could see multiple, huge zits on his back and neck.

I think it's nice when the male talent is a good looking, but also average guy. The girls usually get more into doing a guy who turns them on. I don't, however, think all a girl wants to see is a big, muscular dummy. Just reasonable muscle and definition on a nice looking, clean guy seems to get most girls turned on.
