Recently I read at another forum a post where someone wrote that all a scene needs is a beautiful girl and you should care less about the guy in the scene. To me I am the opposite, if Irons, Everhard, Strong, Pete, Steffano, Holmes, and a few others arent in the vid I usually want even watch the movie. I dont have a gay bone in my body, but it seems to me if you want a solid vid than you need some top notch male performers. Recently got some movies from Sineplex because they have some real good anal vids. The vids are good, but they could have been a lot better if they had better male performers. Just my opinion, and no I am not gay :)

The man is key for 99% of the female performers out there. For the 1% of girls that are inately sexy and possess true charisma, the guy doesn't matter at all. I to feel that male talent matters in making hot scenes. A good male performer, one who is very experienced, is like a team-leader. The director does not have to spoon feed him, he KNOWS what the director wants. The professional male knows how to get the best from the girl they are working with, many of whom are brand new to porn. I think that for a fluid scene with a minimum of cuts the male performer needs to lead, like when dancing, and it requires the girl to trust him not to drop her on her head. If the girl can't relax I doubt she can enjoy herself.
When I was younger I always said the girl was the main concern, the guy wasn't that much of an issue. Some guys looked better than others but I always focused on the girl.
