DarkX isn't live yet, it was just in staging last night so some of you savvy surfers were able to find bits of it. There's more to it then what was there and for those that got the peek, it was just that. To confirm, this is definitely a Mason site.

Mason's site this is definitely great news, Adding Alexis Texas to the DarkX would be historic , that can only happen with Mason. Let's see what happens.
Anal, Facial & DP/GB, not a lot of variety there Gape. Seriously Gape, i'm a G/G and if I joined up, to put it mildly, I most definitely would not be satisfied with what was on offer. There's not a whole lot to get excited about.
If girl/girl is your cup of tea then saying you would be disappointed in the offering is like a vegetarian complaining they aren't being catered to in a steakhouse; It's not a matter of variety, it's a matter of taste.

sorry to say but to my taste also this rare dp/dap/gb realeses from hardx don´t do it for me. can´t buy their stuff at the moment although I was huge fan of mason´s work with Annette Schwarz. US porn needs more nasty stuff in IMO.
^ You might need to edit that for clarity, I'm not sure what you mean. Mason did some fantastic G/G scenes back in the day under her Club 59 brand at Elegant Angel. If she ever got back into the G/G market she would dominate. But yeah, HardX definitely is not a G/G focused brand so fervent G/G fans would be better served elsewhere.

Neither is EroticaX and I dare say DarkX won't be either. But your Assessment of Club59 is spot on, some of the G/G stuff she did under that brand was very good which is why I can't understand why there is such a reluctance to do more for this brand. It's almost like she woke up one morning and completely lost interest in G/G. Baffling, but it is what it is.
^^^^^I agree Mister F. According to some Erotica X admin posts in that site's forum, g/g scenes weren't very popular with the subscribers. Erotica X just came out with a g/g scene (directed by James Avalon) with Riley Reid and Jenna Sativa that had 6 likes and 3 dislikes from subscribers, which places it towards the bottom on popularity. Unfortunately, I don't see Erotica X, Hard X or Dark X having g/g scenes except for showcases in the future. I know it must be disappointing for Mason that the g/g scenes aren't more popular on Erotica X. She posted the following on the Viv Thomas vs. Mason thread in April 2014: ---- I truly miss shooting authentic GG exchanges, and wish I had the opportunity to shoot more. There have been some beautiful moments captured for Erotica X recently, but, I haven't had much time to devote to more consistent GG shoots. I really, really, miss it and hope a more flexible shooting schedule will afford me that luxury. ---- Elegant Angel was much larger so it gave the site's directors (LT, William H, Mason, Grazer aka Mick Blue, Carlos Dee) additional chances for variety for their scenes. It lead to the creation of the great g/g line: Club 59. I believe that Hard X has been trying to bring on more directors to get larger but it doesn't work out (William H earlier this year). Recently, a new director has taken on some of the directing responsibilities for Erotica X: James Avalon. I wonder if the addition of James lead to more time for Mason to devote to the new line, Dark X. If so, that is really great news for gonzo fans. Here's a link to the Mason comment cubbiefanoc quoted. I'll be honest and say that if Mason doing more G/G scenes led to a reduction in the number of scenes from HardX, I wouldn't be in favor. But if she could maintain her current output of high-quality hardcore scenes and do some solid G/G scenes, say along the lines of Lily Carter and Lizz Tayler's from Lesbian Workout (so hot!), then I'd be all for it. The discussion never goes away about whether or not we should do girl/girl stuff of our any of our lines, which is why we ask the question in all the survey's we put out. The demand isn't really there for a regular series according to the way that members (you guys) respond on the survey, but if/when something special comes up, you can trust Mason will act on it.

I appreciate that and I can see your point. I imagine it would be a little disheartening if you put all that time and effort into producing a scene that ends up getting a lukewarm response so I can understand the reluctance to do it. But as I only watch G/G it's frustrating because I watch a trailer and I think 'that looks good' but then I weigh up whether or not it's worth spending money for one scene knowing there may not be another one for a while. It's not because I don't want to watch it, because I love Jenna Sativa, it just doesn't make financial sense so I always end up putting my card back in my wallet.

I would urge caution against burn out. Mason seems to be branching out, which is good, but spreading yourself too thin is not. Hard-X may suffer in order for her to shoot enough DarkX scenes for a site launch. Mister Fahrenheit is correct, damaging HardX to launch DarkX is a bad business model. ^ It isn't set up in a "SuperSite" format Like RK, Brazzers etc. The studio that produces HardX also produces EroticaX and soon DarkX. No subscription to one site includes a subscription to any of the other sites. The studio that produces Blacked and Tushy use the same business model. ^^ If anything is going to "suffer", it'd probably be EroticaX, not HardX. She already brought in someone else to direct some of those scenes (and before that I think she was shooting almost all of it), and she has Manuel directing scenes for HardX (and has had William H and Mick Blue do HardX movies in the past as well, so we know she's more than willing to do it). But the James Avalon directed scenes for EroticaX seem to be doing well, and I don't hear much complaining about the non-Mason HardX scenes either.

Déjà vu... Alex Grey for HardX What a hottie. As I said before, I'm not really familiar with any of her work. She's worked mostly for glamcore sites like X-Art and Nubiles, sites that aren't really my cup of tea. Glad to see she's making the jump to the gonzo side of things and doing it with such style.
