Click to expand I pretty much made this same comment in the comments section for the scene itself on XEmpire, and the new rep (XEmpire Jon) replied: "Hey Chucky...we definitely jumped at the opportunity to shoot this scene when it was available, even though it was a little early for our next DP Me vol...but you can definitely expect to see 3 more DP's in the very near future." While I'm at it...I've been thinking about this upcoming Karlee Grey blowbang scene. The consensus here seems to be that it's for her own showcase, but I ask: If she does indeed have a showcase in the works, why would they reveal the blowbang first? I mean, when it comes to showcases, the m.o. has been to reveal a 1-on-1 scene first, then a B/B/G or G/G/B, with the most hardcore stuff coming last (blowbang, DP, and gangbang). Is Karlee the type of performer that would justify a showcase? It seems like Mason showcases are either legendary performers (Tori, Kristina Rose, Celeste Star in the Club 59 days), top level long-running stars (Allie, Remy, Mia), or performers with a lot hype around them (Abella, Keisha, Dani's first b/g scenes). Granted, ADT is essentially my exposure to b/g fans, but I don't really hear a lot of people talking up Karlee all that much. [Link]

Mason has said herself that the "-bang" scenes take the longest to put together because of all the shifting variables It's ironic, go about 5 pages back and everyone is like "when is Facialized or Gangbange Me coming out"? and now when scenes are released very prematurely, no one accepts the fact that is simply is a scene for the project shot well in advance [Link]

The thing that gets me is that everything HardX produces corresponds to a DVD, I mean, it seems to me that they determine before they even shoot a scene what DVD/series they're going to put the scene in. So that's where I'm like, if it's not for a showcase, what DVD series would they put this in? Of course, there's also the possibility that this actually is for a showcase movie of hers and that the HardX team just decided to change things up a bit by revealing the blowbang first. In terms of pornstar popularity, she's not on the level of those past showcase starlets you mentioned. However, the one thing she does have going for her, and thus makes her showcase worthy, in my opinion, is that she hasn't done anal. So, if she does indeed have a showcase in the works, I could see it going like this: 1st anal, G/G/B anal, 1st DP and 1st blowbang. [Link]

Excluding those that have had a showcase elsewhere or one in the works, because that is just over-saturation. (Lana already has 1, apparently another or 2 in the works I don't know) Karlee would be a smart choice, being up there with Keisha, Abella popularity etc. Would you lean toward Adria Rae, Kristen Scott, Alex Grey, Natasha Nice (appears to be fav. on HardX, not sure if accurate), Natalia Starr, Harley Jade, Summer Day, Abigail Mac? They haven't been around as long as those that have been showcased, but in saying that - is it worth promoting a new "IT" girl? Adria Rae & Natalia have already done DP, same with Alex Grey but that would make it cheaper for a 2nd DP promoted as first glam-DP or something cheesy :D Natasha & Summer have also afaik. Remy is gone, Allie is very inactive - like I would love another Allie Haze showcase if she's back in form & really keen, Mia is limited but of course possible, Dani won't do a showcase as she's pretty much retired - one would hope, but yeah no holding breaths, no point really doing repeats of those that have done a DP & gangbang showcase either. The showcases propelled them to stardom, but there was already hype around them. Karlee's g/g work isn't particularly special, so my curiosity was more if her b/g work did. ADT is my only real exposure to b/g, but I still don't see a whole lot about her. ^^ My opinion is probably useless, but I would have figured by the way I see people talking about them on here that someone like a Megan Rain, AJ Applegate (before she announced her intention to get pregnant), or Jessa Rhodes would have made sense on the established star level showcase, or Kristen Scott, Adria Rae, or Gina Valentina on the rising star level.
