As a picky fan of g/g performers Karlee imo is tops in fact i think she is better at g/g than a lot of other slightly overrated stars.I know Karlee complained that in a few of her earlier g/g scenes she worked with girls who were not into it and that never helps.I feel like she is one of those where every g/g scene improved now she is A grade

You know who really deserves a showcase...Chanell Heart! This woman kills it in just about every scene she does and I absolutely love all of her HardX scenes. The only black woman that I can think of that ever had a showcase was Jada Fire. With all the beautiful and talented women of color out there in the industry this just seems wrong to me. I completely agree with SkyHigh we need more black on black porn. I don't buy the argument that there is no demand for this type of porn and that it never sells well. The biggest sections of every video store that I have ever walked into are always the Interracial and Black sections. I'm curious as to what people who sell DVDs think? What are the sales actually like for Black on Black porn? Jules Jordan and even Elegant Angel ocassionally shoots these types of scenes. In fact, the first Chanell scene that I ever watched was from Big Black Wet Asses where she worked with Prince and it's still one of my favorites. JJ recently released an all black themed movie, let's hope Mason and HardX decide to do the same.

When I think back on all of the great lesbian gangbangs, it occurs to me that... there are none. When LesbianX was announced, it sounded like a return to the good old days of Club59. Instead, Mason seems to be harking back to the bad old days of Bruce Seven. Here's a thought; the next release should have kissing as its theme. Stick to the interviews, lose the teases and the toys, and concentrate on passion, not performance. Otherwise, what you're giving us is HardX without men. these days, the best performers dont get paired up regardless of race. Chanell, Ana, and other top black females dont get paired up with Mandingo or Dredd or other top black males, usually in favor for lesser performers of other non-black ethnicities. Hypothetically, if I had a choice of seeing Chanell with Markus or Mandingo, I'd want Mandingo paired up 10/10 times. The only way you see them matched up is if the actor is a director himself, like Prince, Lex, and LT. This is why I keep asking for B/G/G with a black girl and non-black girl or for Mason to inquire about bringing along a black male performer/director as these seem to be the only avenues to see those matchups happen Like Chanell and Ana have been DP'ed yet they have never shot anal scenes with Mandingo, Lex, Rico, (and now Dredd). best female + best male period, seeing a top black girl with a top black guy is the ultimate sin these days and Mason has done it before, in Tori Black's 1st Pretty Filthy film, she pitted Ice Cold and Marie Luv in a scene with her. Other Elegant films included Brianna Love and Jada Fire shooting a scene with LT, Nyomi Banxx with Lex, Gianna Michaels and Candance Von shooting with Lex(this might've been Evil Angel) I, for the longest, have been trying to see if anyone would pair Jada Stevens and Chanell Heart with Mandingo. Best white girl + Best Black girl + iconic BLACK stud. I understand IR is at its peak but you cant just stick ANY white girl with a black guy and expect me to fawn over it(this is for directors such as GL and JA)
I agree. She's a great performer. Her male performers seem to love her. She's Manuel Ferrara's favorite. However, she seems to be missing that it factor to me. Not superstar or showcase material IMHO.
I do agree with joachim that a month in, I'm not as hot on Lesbian X as I had hoped I would be. There are some scenes that are on the level of Mason's best work on Club 59 (Aidra's scenes with Veronica and Tori, Valentina/Violet, Jenna/Alexis, and Cherie/AJ), but there have been a few scenes that haven't lived up to my hopes (AJ/Harley, Cassidy Banks/Lena Paul, Lily/Maya, and Jada/Abella) and some of the best pairings have been missing that special something due to an over-reliance on toys. What made Club 59 special was a level of intimacy that nobody else has ever been able to capture, and there's more scenes that feel like something that you'd see on Evil Angel rather than a Mason-directed scene. With Tori's showcase and the launch now shot and over (and that scene with Adriana at least judging from the trailer looks to be fucking unbelievable), I really hope that the content being shot in the next few months has a bit of an adjustment. I don't think you have to lose the teases like joachim said for every scene, but every scene having an interview either together or separate going forward is an absolute must so we can learn more about why the two (or more, in the event of another gangbang) enjoy being with women and/or each other. With the heavy emphasis on authenticity in the marketing, not having the interviews causes a crucial loss of insight for the viewer and a way to market the scenes alike. A massive reduction on toys would also be welcome as I think scenes such as Kristina/Keisha, Zoey/AJ, and Cassidy/Aidra honestly felt a bit run of the mill with the addition of toys (I know the Harley and Jada scenes had toys too, but I honestly don't think either are good enough g/g performers for adding/taking away toys to improve the quality of their scenes). And finally, booking more g/g only performers is a must as well. Bringing in girls such as Serena Blair, Georgia Jones, Charlotte Stokely, and reuniting with Celeste Star would be my top priority. At least in the g/g fan circles I'm in, it seems like a lot of them are on the fence on signing up because Jenna Sativa's the only one being featured here. G/G fans are incredibly loyal and appreciative to studios that feature g/g only performers, and I think featuring girls like Serena and Georgia will go a very long way for the long-term success of Lesbian X. I'm still of the firm belief that if you booked Serena and Celeste together, Mason, they'd be the first pairing to win AVN awards in consecutive years for working together.
^^Totally agree with everything you said. I know they wanted to come out of the gate strong, but I'm willing to wait for them to make adjustments so the scenes match the tag line. With 3 straight weeks of Tori coming up, I'm hoping these changes are being considered. So The keys are; - More Interviews - No more toys, or at least a lot less - More G/G only performers

Definitely agree regarding the use of toys on LesbianX. The Valentina Violet scene and Tori Adria scene in my opinion are the best on the site. Something about the scenes without toys that makes them feel more intimate and intense than thise with toys. Seems counterintuitive as you would think toys are associated with more powerful stimulation but it creates a distance between the performers. Girl-toy-girl but should be girl-girl!! The Tori Lana scene has some small toy use which looks like it will be ok and does not appear throughout the whole scene. From the gangbang trailer though, I am not that keen on the strapons (or other scenes that use bigger toys like hatchi). Yeah its a DP but with such an amazing cast I hope that its so much more than that and the scene doesn't centre around the use of toys.
^I really wouldn't fret too much. The Gangbang scene should be moderately lengthy, and I do not foresee toys/strap-on being used for the entire duration. With 5 women involved, there will be A LOT to do sexually and I'm sure many different avenues will be explored. On a side note, it appears no toys will be present in the Tori-Adriana scene, and the Lana one seems minimal.
I think some people just had the wrong expectations about what LesbianX would be. They were expecting a straight-up relaunch of Club 59 but the fact is that those types of girl/girl scens weren't the only type Mason had ever filmed. She had done lots of girl/girl scenes that featured toys in her showcase films. So while I understand possibly wanting a more even distribution of the scene types, people should just make peace with the toys because they've been a part of Mason's repertoire since the beginning.
^Well when people were clamoring for Mason's return to G/G, it was specifically for the Club 59 style. I frankly was unaware she did a different style of G/G which involved a lot of toy use. fans are really easy to please. i'm almost sure Mason can't improve video quality since she releases scenes through Gamma Network. She should make a deal with Jules Jordan and direct for his company. True 4K over there. his SD scenes look better than 1080p Xempire stuff.
^I don't see Mason doing that at this juncture. Jules is superb, but their high quality isn't an exclusivity. Blacked/Tushy/Vixen renders in 4K HD as well.
^^^^^ But is it not unreasonable to suggest that the reason why people were hoping for a Club 59 relaunch was because those scenes were so well beyond what ends up in the star showcase? I don't think people would have been clamoring for years for Mason to come back to g/g if the scenes in the showcases were the bar. There are people rate the Girl Crush series as the greatest g/g releases of all-time, not the single g/g scene in a showcase designed for b/g fans. Club 59 was able to transcend above the rest because it offered a level of intimacy that only Mason has ever been able to capture. There's a clear reason why ever single release but one when Mason and William were in charge of Club 59 had multiple award nominations and are still revered today as being some of the best pieces of lesbian content to ever be released. Like Whirlbuddy said, toys create a distance between the performers because there's a loss of direct feedback that comes from being entwined in each other. There are right now more scenes than not on Lesbian X that frankly don't feel special and that anyone could have directed them. They don't feel like Mason scenes and that's a problem. I don't think fans should have to "make peace" with content that they aren't quite keen on when there's content being released that is exactly what they want. It'd be like fans of Mason's gonzo b/g work getting more than half of those scenes with heavy narrative and setups. Sure, I'm sure there would be an audience for it, but it's not as good for what her audience specifically wants. I'll be 100% candid here. With all of the X sites under one subscription now, b/g fans aren't going to think about canceling their subscriptions based off of the g/g content since when b/g content makes up at least 75% of the overall content per month. I'd go as far to say that it there's a larger portion of the overall subscription side that won't even look at g/g content, just as I won't look at any b/g content. However, you have to get g/g fans onboard for there to truly be a noticeable success in that case. In my opinion, that means to a certain extent catering to us g/g fans and what we want to see to entice us when the majority of the total amount of content of the subscription is of little interest to a large portion of the fanbase. I think the above suggestions from various users are the keys to making Lesbian X feel truly special. Putting on my "If I was Mason" hat on, you don't have to lose the tease parts at all. You could do it interview > tease > scene, or even tease > scene > interview, but the interviews are absolutely vital to making the product feel like a Mason scene. Book Serena and Celeste together and go for the first ever back-to-back AVN award for a pairing. Bring in popular g/g models like Georgia, Vanessa Veracruz, Mindi Mink, Shyla, or Ryan Ryans and either pair them up with each other or some of the biggest Hard X stars and have a "clash of the two worlds" kind of thing. Use the classic Club 59 format where someone known for their b/g work like Kristina Rose into a scene with a veteran g/g performer where she gets to show a completely different side to her fans and expose her to a new set of fans that may have not been familiar with her.
This is another reason I dont like professional g/g scenes. Over-reliance on toys kills the authenticity of the passion the two performers are supposed to exhibit. The only toy I prefer is the double-edge dildo. Other than that, toys should be for solo scenes or fetish scenes And I am not a big g/g fan but I've blown a couple of dollars on camsites watching webcam models go at it because it doesnt feel like a porn soot when they go at it, if that makes sense

Well, we have had about 1 month of LesbianX. I'm not totally against toys in g/g scenes, but most of the really good interactions avoid them. Strap-ons and double dongs can work with the right talent. I thought the Anikka Albrite/Mia Malkova scene was rolling along nicely until they dipped into the toys. The scene quickly went down the drain. Saw that some here are calling for the scene interviews. Never knew the interviews were popular. I watch a few seconds of those interviews, cringe and then skip to the action. Where should LesbianX go from here? Mason can't duplicate the Tori Black return wow effect on a regular basis. I'm confident LesbianX will get the biggest stars that are available. I'd say experiment with the content. Mix it up and see which type of scenes attract the most positive response.
Mason doesn't have control over the quality, they are rendered to the site based on the head companies requirements / templates. Until ALL of their sites upgrade to 4K or 12000 bitrate, XEmpire won't. Please don't blame Mason for the head company's outdated quality across their sites. I'm 100% sure Mason would be pushing as much as possible to release scenes at a higher quality, unfortunately things are out of the director's control. Be patient, I'm sure it won't be too far away. ^^^ For me, the interviews add that window into how the girls feel about being with other girls. So much g/g is narrative driven, and it's refreshing to be able to see them have the opportunity to just be themselves in the interview.

Interviews should be put in the BTS section, I hate to fast farward, but watching a Mason-thing, I will certauinly have to from time to time, because when a chick is sitting down looking for some answer, it's hard to be that arroused, if you've been watching the segment once before. So instead of four scenes I'd prefer five shorter ones. It just takes too much time getting to the point.
^^^Actually they already got together for GirlsWay. AJ picked her for her Dream Pairing. ^^And interviews are a good way to get insight into the performers. The Gracie Glam/Brooke Lee Adams scene would not be the same if there was no interview before hand. ^Totally disagree, It's a staple of what makes Mason's G/G scenes different from the rest. I agree about the interviews its hard not to cringe through it.I think the site can be great for me it needs to tone toy use to bare minimum,start getting actual g/g only performers [thought that was a no brainer but here we are] maybe add some themes or scenario's like nurses,cops,pirates etc
^ Mason generally doesn't do scenarios/themes like that. It's not impossible, it's just that she rarely did it at Elegant, and she's done it even less at HardX. I mean, part of the reason she handed over EroticaX to James Avalon was because she wasn't interested in doing scenarios and wanted to stick to "pure gonzo". Seems like we're in the minority. I'm invested in certain performers I enjoy watching, and the Mason interviews add a more human element to the overall viewing experience. Unfortunately, some view porn as women being objects for their sexual gratification, and do not care to see their personality/inner thoughts on display. It's an understandable opinion given what we're watching. But for me, I like witnessing the performers granted a feeling of liberation. A precursor to the sex - if you will.
