That's certainly true, but a woman still doesn't want to be addressed as "he", does she? Do you understand what I mean? If you use the term "director" without gender, you still can't use "he" because you don't know whether the director is a woman or a man.
It's not a question of whether a woman or a man is a better director. It's a purely grammatical point.
I've always found it humorous that people think I'm a dude. Happens all the time. In fact, there are people in the industry who still think I'm a guy. Just the other day an agent texted me, "hey man I've got this new guy you should try out." It still makes me giggle like a girl, lol.
^ Typical of you to see the funny side when plenty of us would have just got sick of it by now! Suspect being a woman is one of the reasons your scenes are so dynamic as you'll probably be far more in tune with what the girls really like and dislike and this will make for better scenes for us. Keep up the good work. Think we'd all love to see even more of it!!!

I can imagine that a little " romanticism" plays a role here. Many personalities from sport and entertainment have damaged their legacy with comebacks. JH was at the top when studio porn was in its prime. She showed everything and nothing could top that these days. And many would rather remember this prime era than consider a comeback that does not do justice to the legacy.
It makes you wonder if folks watch your scenes with the sound turned down. I mean, you clearly chat with your girls, we can hear you giggle. And gasp in wonder. And breathe in excitement.
I don't think it's ironic at all: You bring a woman's eye to sexual photography. You're a true artist, in the way that only a woman can be. You have an understanding of your performers, your scene setup, and the sex, that speaks so highly of you as a woman. The fact that you place your camera exactly where I would want to be if I were in the room, speaks to your understanding of what turns a man on (even an old, dumpy guy like this one), which I believe explains who you are as a woman. So giggle away, girl. I'll be the one shouting, "Girl Power!"
Absolutely wild that this is something that still happens to you, with the years you've put in and the illustrious career you've built for yourself that people - even more so those who are in the industry - can get something so simple, so wrong! To the surprise of no one you're able to just brush it aside!
