Hell, creativity today means just producing something in high quality, e.g. Greg Lansky. His stamp has been high quality photography. He deserves a lot of credit as the rare exception to the rule, but I still think there could be more artistry and creativity explored. It still very much feels like the vast majority of mainstream porn is inside the box. That's why I suggested HardXJ look into Kaysplanet. But that's not really mainstream porn. It's not even porn really. It might sound weird, but my interest in porn has been substituted for different kinds of aesthetic stimulation - stuff that's not even technically pornographic. Have you guys heard of ASMR? A really well done ASMR roleplay video can be as therapeutic as porn for me. It's relaxing and oddly stimulating. Those among the best of the ASMR artists/performers are ahead of the curve when it comes to aesthetics/sound immersion. They are very attuned to details and textures, sometimes they evincing idiosyncratic focus. It's stimulating in ways that are too often overlooked in porn. It's more organic, whereas mainstream porn seems perfunctory and uninspired. And I'm pretty sure between Boz, Richard Mann, and Ice Cold, at least two of them have been excommunicated from the mainstream biz. But as I qualified my statement, it's a subjective manner in which I temper what Draghix was saying. I'm not too wild about very nasty/aggressive stuff either. But I don't think things are as mean/nasty as they were 10 years ago, in the days when porn was still capitalizing off the internet bubble, and the novelty of new pornsites was fresh and had its own cowboys. I think MissPornUSA and others have noted that the current era of porn, let's call it the last 5 years, has seen a tempering or "correction" of the mean stuff of the previous decade. And I think they actually feel it's been over-corrected to a point where it's currently quite tame/neutered. No more Max Hardcore, no more HushHush with their provocative raceplay, even Dogfart has cleaned up their act some. Come to think of it, has anyone seen fish-hooking in a recent gonzo? I know it still happens. In fact I saw it just last year in a scene with Rob Piper and Karmen Karma. But I get the impression that she has established in no uncertain terms that she's into that type of thing. It made for a great outdoor, in the pool scene. But I also have a feeling that sort of thing happens less in porn because guys need permission for it now, whereas 10 years ago, they just went for it. It must be some kind of regulation?
