I fully agree and I'm glad this is being brought up by others. I don't want to sound like a broken record, but the subscription isn't catered to fans of Girl/Girl, it's catered to fans of Boy/Girl who enjoy watching a bit of lesbian erotica on the side. You get 4 BG scenes and 1 GG scene per week. This isn't unique to LesbianX, it is true of the vast majority of GG 'sites' which leaves GG fans signing up out of necessity more than anything else and will lead to more content being watched on tube sites instead. On the flip side a subscription to Viv Thomas & Girlsway gets you 3 and 5 times the content per week respectively (as well as boasting a far larger back catalogue). Both sites seem to do very well because of this. It also allows them to create a dedicated community around their content, especially in the case of Girlsway. LesbianX is just starting out, so I can see where a lot of people are coming from. For $9.95 a month, 4 sites with higher quality content than most is damn good. Well for me at least. G/G only fans obviously have better alternatives for consistent content that has been strong for years. Fair enough. I could understand if you bought just the one site that you're disappointed, but you also have to remember most subscribers are there for mainly HardX. I really don't know how much appeal EroticaX and DarkX sites get in comparison. I watch the odd EX or DX scene, but most don't excite me.
^^^ But that makes the decision to take a week off and only having one g/g scene a week an even worse look. While there are most definitely fans of both b/g and g/g, I'd say that there's more fans that are strictly fans of one (not talking about sheer numbers of fans, but rather a percentage. This is a super rough estimate so some of the numbers might be off a bit depending on tags not being correct on scenes and thus not showing up in the filters. There are currently 720 scenes available on XEmpire not counting upcoming scenes. For this, we're going to say the three solo scenes on the site appeal to g/g fans too since there's no dick in them. Counting those 3, there are 46 total scenes out of those 720 that don't have a man in them. So that's about 6.4% of the total scenes on the site appealing to fans that have no interest at all in a scene with a man in it compared to 93.6% at least from a pure content prospective appealing to those that do. Judging off of the 20 scenes that were released in September, only 4 appeal to g/g only fans. While you're right that a lot of people are there for Hard X, similarly to how porn without dicks can be a non-starter for fans, porn with dicks is a non-starter for others too. In that event, there's still as many scenes per month released for Erotica X and Dark X that are in the same realm of something that they'd be interested in so there's a good chance they might find something out of those scenes that is of interest to them. Compare that for Lesbian X where if someone signed up because they aren't into porn with dicks, there's literally nothing besides those 4 scenes released that's for them. It kind of becomes a non-starter then for value. B/g fans aren't going to sign up for XEmpire based off of the strength or weaknesses of Lesbian X as there's 80% of the content out for the site that interests them even more, while g/g fans aren't because there isn't enough content for them, and that's before getting into things that I've noticed dividing the opinions on Lesbian X such as the casting not highlighting g/g models, overuse of toys, and the lack/inclusion of interviews. Unless the value proposition changes, I think now that the initial honeymoon period is over, and there's only going to be signups once a year for g/g fans to get the scenes at a discounted rate or DVD sales. Which is fine if that's the goal, but if that tease from Lansky is in fact for a g/g site, it's going to make it even harder for Lesbian X to have the kind of success I imagine was the goal going into the endeavor. And for me that's disappointing because in my opinion, the Hadley/Kylie, Adriana/Tori, and Aidra/Veronica is some of the best g/g work Mason's done. I think the main reason HardX flourishes the most is because it is Mason's main site where you catch most of her work, but it also appears to be the only site where she uses other directors. Mick directs projects for Mason on HardX and Manuel used to before he switched to solely JJV. On DarkX, the hype was real until Mason started working on LesbianX and thus handed it over to Avalon, since then the site is basically a Blacked copycat and has lost a ton of luster. She handed it over around last November and the stark contrast in updates from her last two months and his first two are equivalent to a Porsche and a Hybrid I've been suggesting to bring in a black male director like Lex or LT but so far it has proved unsuccessful. I'd assume there are G/G performer-directors, like Dana Vespoli, that G/G fans would want to see on LesbianX to help keep the updates constant
Not too long ago here, we were discussing what would be 2nd act at LesbianX after the 4 Tori Black scenes were released. So far the 2nd act has been pretty good, but nothing special. You can get away with releasing only 4 g/g scenes a month if you have something great to offer. We Live Together (Reality Kings) created plenty of enthusiasm with the Malena Morgan contract. During that period, Malena averaged about 3 scenes a month. LesbianX is going to need something along that line to spice things up or it will become a couple months a year rental for the g/g audience.

I'm mostly critical of sites and their lack of g/g content/interest but to be fair to Mason, LX is a brand new site and it's release schedule is similar to the other sites like Darkx and Eroticax. I don't know if anyone noticed but those two sites also skipped a week last month. I would eventually like to see Mason increase the rate of scenes per week for LX but I think given the site's newness, it will take at least a year or two. But keep complaining and putting pressure on Mason and her staff. I'm sure they read every word of this thread and take your suggestions into consideration.
I think it would be a bit unfair on Mason to constantly go on about this. I feel this is more than likely out of her control. There is only so much a director can do as there are other upper management, scheduling or staffing reasons e.g video editor or w/e that could potentially factor in. Mason genuinely cares about her fans, subscribers and always provides the best output with the given input / resources she is allocated. No need to bring negativity constantly into this thread. It is meant to be a positive environment. Best thing to do is when Mason pops back in, just post a polite message that you'd like to see more LesbianX content and that hopefully it becomes more consistent or worthwhile for you overall. ^^^^ Dana's exclusive to Sweetheart and Evil Angel I think, so she wouldn't be an option. The big hook for Lesbian X is that it's Mason, so unless that extra director would be in addition to her scenes, it wouldn't make too much sense. There's not really anyone that stands out that would be a good fit that's available. I think Sasha Heart is, but I also didn't like how two of the last three Fetish Fanatics basically turned into Sasha showcases when she directed. ^^^ Another thing even after the Malena deal that WLT did right, and I hate to harp on this because Club 59 got this right too, but they really did cater to the g/g audience both in terms of what g/g fans like in g/g porn over what the b/g fans do and in performers. I haven't seen it much here, but on the Girlsway forum and some other g/g forums, a big thing I've seen is that LX just isn't for them. You'd have scenes on WLT where the kissing or rimming might start or end in a similar time, but there would be variables such as the location, the foreplay speed, or even things as simple as outfit clashes to give the girls a bit more unique style. I could be mistaken but at least from what I can remember, there isn't a scene so far on LX where the models aren't in bikinis or lingerie at the beginning of the scene. Just calling back to the Zoe Voss/Aiden Ashley scene from Girl Crush 1, but one of the hottest things about that was how they took their time undressing each other. I'm not saying getting rid of the bikinis completely, but there's a enormous hole in the foreplay that's impossible now. When it comes to sex acts, like I said above, you'd have the occasional anal focused scene or squirting scene, but it wasn't to focal point of the scene like it is for LX where it seems like outside of Tori's showcase, every single pairing has some sort of gimmick attached to it, whether it be anal, squirting, or big tits. And if there was a scene with a toy in it, there wouldn't be another one for months after that because the g/g audience for the most part hates them outside of the occasional strap-on. I get that they're different brands than what was done in the past with EA and trying to sync the X's together is a goal since at least with Hard X every DVD for the most part has a theme, but I really think setting LX apart from the rest of the X's is how to go moving forward in presentation through either locations, outfits, or dropping the forced themes. On a brand built on authenticity, it honestly does feel like there's something missing with many of the scenes being cast to fit the niche rather than for chemistry. I'm on the WLT site now looking at the time around when Malena left and there's some sort of combination of either Abigail Mac, Eva Lovia, and Bree Daniels all before they crossed over along with girls that never did like Celeste Star, Cassie Laine, Ryan Ryans, Shyla Jennings, Elle Alexandra, Georgia Jones, and Alyssa Reece together or with a bigger b/g star at least in half of the scenes that came out each month. Outside of two Jenna Sativa scenes, one of which was the gangbang, there's no g/g only presence. I can't stress enough how much I think bringing in Celeste, Serena Blair, Georgia, Charlotte Stokely, Scarlett Sage, Aiden Ashley, Vanessa Veracruz, and Ryan Ryans would get more of the g/g audience on board. It's a fiercely loyal fanbase as has been shown through the success of GW and how much chatter over the last few years there's been to get Mason and Lansky back, but one thing as a production unit and in promotion I think is needed after so many years of subpar output from the big studios that just saw g/g as a throwaway is to make them feel like they as an audience and their favorite performers are equal to b/g performers. I think that specifically is where Lansky succeeded after Malena left that gap when she retired, and a good way for LX to make some inroads with the g/g fanbase.
Disappointed there was no LX update this week. When the Karlee and April pictures came up on twitter I thought it would come out before Cass and Nina scene but release day came and went.. Was on a 1month membership too which meant only got 3 updates instead of 4 which was a bummer. Will probably go back into intermittently monitoring the updates and saving a next 1 month subscription until the catalogue builds up. Especially since there will probably be few more strapon scenes too which are not my thing coming up to complete the series of this theme (I think 2 currently) I will be more cautious knowing 1-2 weeks will likely not be for me. Unless one of my favorite performers like Lana Rhoades, Abigail Mac or Uma Jolie pops up in a good pairing (which is what happened this time for me) I feel I can wait for discount and grab a 30 day every few months to catch up. Still, have some great LX scenes in my collection to enjoy for now which I am very thankful to Mason for! Nobody is 'complaining' and nobody is putting pressure on anybody to DO anything. In fact I think people are being relatively civil on here given LesbianX have skipped a week. Paying for a month and only getting 3 scenes must sting - I would hope members will receive some kind of gesture of apology. That isn't Mason's fault though and people clearly recognise that. If a company or it's critical employees don't value criticism and just wish for heaping praise then they will likely fail. And I would hope Mason sees it this way and not as an attack on her personally. I imagine every GG fan on here wants this site to work and to rival the likes of Girlsway and Viv Thomas. It may have gotten lost in all the talk about LesbianX missing it's weekly scene. However, this one was excellent. Even if you find the toys a turn-off, there is plenty of great action prior to their arrival. Whether it's b/g or g/g, what a great year Natalia Starr has had in porn. She's all in for this scene.
