I've seen two US DAPs so far that I've really liked, because the guys had a certain bigness too. That was AW with Mick + Erik and Jada's scene from 2014 also with Mick + Erik.
Many, many US DAP scenes are shot with the common DP guys, who then I don't find particularly exciting outside of the DAP part.

I must also confess that I find it very difficult to take a step back when I have reached a certain standard. I'm a big Kristy Black fan and have seen her DAP scenes with Charlie Mac and Chris Diamond...who together are probably 6 times the size of US guys. I would then probably find it very difficult to enjoy these enormous differences.

For those who have no experience with LP/AV, this is certainly less of a problem, if any.

Very few are super into it, do it in their personal lives, or did it before porn. Maybe Casey is one of them. Good for her. Lena doesn't appear to want to do it, and PLENTY of fans prefer tight, shapely looking assholes, not gaping and prolapsing - I think she's doing just fine in terms of her career and her fandom. And that's coming from someone who can't stand her lesbian performances. What I can't stand more though? The obsession with the physical altering, and infliction of medical conditions, on females being categorized and pushed as a turn-on, a-ok, all right, perfectly fine.

But with Mason in particular, I have the impression...something is missing. You look at the current and upcoming scenes - they are the same generic b/g scenes with Blue or Stefano. Over and over again. The days of spectacular showcases with Tori Black or Asa Akira are long gone and probably won't come back. And somehow the something special is missing.

Male talent we had Erik Everhard, Manuel Ferarra, Rico Strong who always delivered on set.

Xempire gave us hit after hit when it came to those names, Mason brought her A-game to another level in the early 2010s which is pretty much almost unmatched to this day.

Mason does bring out the best in a female performer especially when it comes to sex appeal, I like how she works with the female to what works best.

I would happily relive those times given the chance.

True I agree it cannot be blamed on the directors as the market dictates everything in the world of adult.

Back then the market featured PAWGs heavily alongside busty female performers that has changed now to the slender female talent.

However I do enjoy Alina Lopez, Emily Willis, Chloe Cherry, Kendra Spade and Jill Kassidy.

But like you said the market will change in future to another body type.

I do think showcases need to make a comeback if anyone knows how to do a showcase it's Mason.

Three of the four sites (DarkX, LesbianX and AllBlackX) are on a one-a-month update rate. And while (until this week) HardX has had an update each week, the lack of "freshness" with the female casting picks has been underwhelming, for me, at least. If I didn't know any better, I'd say the network, particularly Mason, is working with a "bare bones" budget now. Seems like she's rarely shooting, and when she does shoot something, they drag out the release of each scene from a four-scene movie over several months, as evidenced by the release of the DP Me Vol. 12 scenes. Not only was the release of those scenes dragged out over five months, but I get the sense that those scenes were shot months before their actual release; wasn't there Twitter confirmation that the Vanessa Sky scene was shot way back in December of last year?

As a longtime fan of Mason's work, this year's been a real bummer. Shit, as bad as 2020 was, at least we got one of those Facialized movies to start the year.

The problem isn't Evil Angel and Xempire but Gamma.

Yes the production manager should pay attention to comments to see what is clicking with fans and what isn't connecting.

I do believe Mason and Xempire are well cut above Gamma, that Mason/Xempire doesn't need Gamma but Gamma needs them.

The reason porn is generic today is because their is no competition, for example Brazzers, Bangbros were in their prime between 2010-2015 that's because they had to bring something special to the table if they wanted porn supremacy and bring in fans, but those days have long gone and studios are no longer producing bangers as they have gone lazy.

Gamma just doesn't bring out out true 4K quality which is a shame as some Gamma owned websites do have great scenes.

Compare the 4K between Gamma owned websites to the 4K of Vixen Media Group-owned websites you can see the quality difference.

The 4K output and bit rate of Gamma is just terrible.

I do think the actual scene quality could massively improve if Mason/Xempire split and depart from Gamma.

The Ashley Lane and Jax Slayher was also excellent, Jax is an incredible performer and quite honestly underrated he can deliver on set.

It seems most Gamma websites are heading down that route.

I agree the pandemic has put a holt on a mass production of scenes, especially last year.

There is still restrictions so far and lots of risks involved.

Evil Angel has good stuff but not enough of it and too much junk that comes along with it, Xempire is great but not enough updates or directors, William H would be excellent addition to the website.

Regarding my team and new series to come, if your a fan of Chris Streams earlier work for JJV you'll love our brand.

He has directed some of the best scenes to date namely the infamous brother load series, young and glamorous, oil overload, internal damnation and even some orgy masters stuff etc.

I already have an all-star lineup ready for our debut.
