The embedded player I use just doesn't stream the data correctly for some reason. The same engine plays the locally stored file just fine. I tried using another engine, and that worked fine. [scratching head] I don't know what's different about streaming from your server, as opposed from the other servers where it usually works fine. No biggie. I doubt DB is running the same system I am, but I figured it might still help to view the movie locally. Concerning the clip: She looks quite nice. (© Understatements-R-Us) That's one tight body. Lighting is much better in this one. Lightyears ahead? ::groan:: Are you going for a stronger voyeuristic feel with the rounded black corners in the sex bits? When I turned up the volume to verify the source of the whirring , my sub-woofer got quite a workout. Was there a draft, or was someone breathing heavily into the microphone? I had an errant activeX tag on this morning's blog post. If that's were you're getting the weird behaivior, that might be the cause. It should be fixed now. Though it's been a long time coming, this film of ours is really turning out nicely. We're just putting the last touches on the authoring, and at the same time doing a 10 bit 4:2:2 conform. I had to find a new vender to do the SDI transfer from the Digibeta tapes from the telecine session to harddisc, and was a little nervous about how they would react to the material. But there was no need. As soon as they saw how beautiful you two looked together, the "dirty movie, har har har" stopped cold. They completely got what we were going for, and then asked "how come more people aren't making movies like this?" [Link]

They met in 1987, when Khym was just 18 and a virgin, and Matt was 21. 18 years later, it was our privilege to spend a morning with them, and get their story on film. Coming in at just over 52 minutes, the film is both expansive and intimate. Drawn from nearly 20 years of memories, the interview is full of laughs and tenderness, and (thanks to Kiko Martin's wonderful cinematography) the lovemaking looks just like what it is, a lazy Sunday morning romp, enveloped in gentle Sunday morning light. I've never seen on-screen sex that looks like this; the truth is, I don't think anyone else has either. The technical aspects of this film are as unique as the story. Matt and Khym's lovemaking was shot on Super16 film (Kodak Vision 200T, if you're curious.) To match the frame-rate of the film, the interview was recorded on 24P video equipment. The film was transferred and color corrected by New York City's Magno Sound and Video using a proprietary frame for frame telecine process (completely eliminating 3:2 pulldown from the image chain) that I developed expressly for my erotic filmmaking. The resulting film and video footage was conformed in 4:4:4 HD and the DVD is a pure 24P MPEG stream, anamorphic presentation that subjects the film to the minimum of compression possible on a DVD. Click to expand At the time we filmed, Bill was in his early/mid sixties and Desiree was in her late forties. Both of them were, by any standard, good looking, and all the more so as an "older" couple. Ashley & Kisha is coming together more easily than any film I've ever worked on. It's as if it wants to be a move. I should have a rough cut by the end of the week and I will probabably be doing color work by the end of next week. Of the four films we have in post, right now I'm leaning towards tackling Bill & Desire next! [Link]
