I didn’t receive many replies when I posted this, which surprised me. I have never watched MFX. However, I consider this a concern anyway.

The approach is similar to other anti-obscenity campaigns in recent history. Postal inspectors order porn, completely aware of the product they are ordering; then the postal inspectors make sure the product is delivered to an area where the material is likely to be deemed obscene by the local courts.

Gonzales is quoted in the article as saying the anti-obscenity campaign is a top FBI priority.

Too bad that previous post didn't get much attention. Seems like after they saw the thing about "Toiletman 6" it turned into one big joke. Yeah, they sold gay scat. No thanks! They pretty much sold everything there is. I think they even sold fake snuff or something. Yet movies with poo is way worse? Do you see people watching people crap and then go out and kill people? Seriously, I would be surprised if like real life murderers were some of their best customers.

I'm glad they sold the stuff in the USA for their customers, but in my opinion it was rather stupid. They should have expected something like this to happen! I know that I could make a ton of money in the USA selling similar content, but it's way too risky and that's like asking to go to jail unfortunately. I always thought that as long as you didn't actually make it in the USA you were fine. Guess not!

If it's not made in the USA I don't see how they can do much. I don't get it. So now what keeps uncle sam from taking me to court for importing SCAT?

BTW has anyone yet in the industry been fined or taken to court for violating the 2257 thing?

I loved that site. I was able to access the brazilian verison of the site. I started talking to the "on-line help staff" but couldn't really get a straight answer as to what was going on.

If somebody gets hurt, maimed or killed, that's where the legal system can step in and do what it was meant to do.

Do I like scat? No. That's why I don't watch it. But I don't need Alberta Gargoyles to protect me. I have this thing in my head called a brain. I use it (sometimes) to determine things like what a movie is about and whether I'm interested in seeing it.

But this was 2,3 years ago. I liked the first MFX videos. But the quality went down, as they were releasing a movie
almost every day. I still like to watch the early one, especially with carol ( my sister-in-name ) and Ayumi.
They had some very pretty girls that were really into bizarre sex. But later they mostly had girls who didnt liked it and behaved like robots.

If the site really was operated from USA, then they were very, very dumb. Then its a wonder, that it was online for years.

I read the article about the shutdown and they had done all the disc burning out of an apartment they rented in the USA.

I don't know if they were down the whole time or not. All the old sites are down though.

MFX titles are still good. Some of them are just plain amazing, about 5% of them. I now own about 50 of their titles and maybe 25% of them are actually good. It takes awhile to find a really good one. Some of the MFX titles blow away anything Japan has done with the same theme and that's saying a lot.

What's strange is that the european versions are $30-$40 and officially pressed DVDs, yet the US versions were $40 and DVD-Rs..I don't get that.

I don't believe they sell the whole catalog of titles they once had though. I just know that their customer service stinks now. They'll pretty much ignore you until you actually order. They ship fast though.

I totally agree. I remember when I ordered my first bunch of movies from MFX. I thought to myself "I'm going to spend so much money with this company it's going to be crazy". I would visit their site like 3 or 4 times a week for like 4 years. The movies just kept getting worse and worse. I never ended buying anymore movies from them. I used to post in the forum all the time with great suggestions. I guess it fell on deff ears.

I used to think it was so cool that you would post in their forum. You were one of the only females that would post in there.

Your post's were always intellingent and insightfull.

I retreated in the MFX Forum, because they asked the customers to send in suggestions and storylines.
But they never implemented it. They just did the same over and over again.

I also think it's a shame that they're gone. Even though I agree that the quality had gone down a little bit I had the impression that especially in the last couple of weeks or months the situation got better again. Mainly due to better looking actresses they had on lesbianbrazil.com some of them were really beautiful and I hadn't seen them before on their site.
As far as mfxmedia.com goes they have never been down. Even when mfxvideo was still around you could order from them and it would be dvd-rs (which wasn't a problem for me as the movies were not very expensive) and at the same time order originally pressed dvds from mfxmedia. It's a logical move for them to open up mfxmedia because that way they can sell their movies in sexshops everywhere in Europe. They should have just kept it that way from the start and sell everything out of Europe not setting a foot on American soil. :-)
I just hope that at mfxmedia they have mfx's full back-catalogue and will be releasing all of their titles in time because there were still some ones I didn't manage to get my hands on and which seemed to be pretty nice. I agree that their dvds are way too expensive though. Even though they are originally pressed they still have the same bad picture quality that mfx used to have and 40 euros or so for a 60 min movie is just too much. However sometimes I don't mind spending that much because it's just quality porn and they used to be among the best in the world of porn.

I dont liked the movies in the last 12-18 months. A flood of movies, some very good looking girls, but very few had the passion and lust the first wave had.
Look at the first movies with Carol or the redheaded women
( just forgot her name ).
The last ones were very bad, a female drill instructor shouting commands. Is this arousing anyone ?

I really like the fact that the MFX site had the fourm. I also like the fact that they had lots of big clear photo's for every movie they released so you could get an idea if you were interested.
